Mondesi was removed from Sunday's game against the Twins in the first inning with an apparent shoulder injury, Joel Goldberg of Fox Sports Kansas City reports.

Mondesi got hurt on a diving play in the infield and was spotted holding his left shoulder while walking off the field. Considering the shoulder is the same one that he dislocated in mid-July, there's legitimate reason to believe the Royals may hold him out for additional contests. Before departing Sunday, Mondesi went 1-for-1 with his 43rd stolen base of the season, leaving him two bags behind the Mariners' Mallex Smith for the major-league lead.

Adames went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an extra-innings win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Adames launched a mammoth 462-foot shot to center in the seventh, extending the Rays' lead to 3-1 at the time. The young shortstop is generating strong production as the season winds down and the Rays chase a playoff spot, as he's now reached safely in 11 of the last 12 games in which he's logged at least one official at-bat.

Correa is not in the Astros' lineup Sunday against the Angels.

It's been the team's plan to limit Correa's playing time since his return from a back injury. He was replaced in the sixth inning in Saturday's contest and will now remain out Sunday. Aledmys Diaz will enter the lineup and play third base while batting seventh as a result of Correa's absence.

Rojas is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, according to Joe Frisaro of MLB.com.

Rojas doubled five times over his last four games, but manager Don Mattingly decided it was time to give Rojas his first day off since Sept. 11. Jon Berti will get the start at shortstop in Rojas' place.

Gordon is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Gordon went just 2-for-20 (.100) over his last seven games, so manager Scott Servais decided to give him a day to clear his head. Shed Long will cover the keystone Sunday in Gordon's place.

Fletcher went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Astros.

After going 0-for-8 in the prior two games, Fletcher bounced back with his ninth multi-hit performance in 18 games this month. The 25-year-old is slashing .329/.388/.370 in September, although Saturday's solo shot was his first extra-base hit of the bunch, as he caps off a solid first full season in the majors.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and walk during a 5-3 victory against the Tigers on Saturday.

The White Sox shortstop is now on a nine-game hitting streak and has gone deep twice in the last four contests. During his streak, Anderson is 16-for-46 (.348) with four extra-base hits and five RBI. Overall, he is batting .335 with 18 home runs, 56 RBI, 78 runs and 17 steals in 477 at-bats this year.

Seager went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a run scored in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Rockies.

After Cody Bellinger reached on an error in the fourth inning, Seager ripped his first triple of the year to bring the star home. Seager himself would score on Russell Martin's single for the Dodgers' last run in the contest. The shortstop has gone hot lately, going 13-for-28 over his last seven games with a homer, seven RBI and five runs scored in that span. He's hitting .271 on the year with 17 homers, 81 RBI and 78 runs scored in 128 games.

Crawford went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Orioles.

Crawford enjoyed a productive game, highlighted by a three-run homer in the eighth inning to put the Mariners ahead. It's been a struggle at the plate for Crawford since the All-Star break, as his average has plummeted from .277 to .233. Still, it was a nice performance from the young shortstop and his first multi-RBI effort since July 31.

Correa's exit in the sixth inning Saturday against the Angels was part of the plan to limit his playing time to close the regular season, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

After the game, manager A.J. Hinch said that the team planned to play Correa only six or seven innings due to his lack of a rehab assignment. Even with a limited workload, Correa has been productive, collecting three hits and scoring three runs in his three games since being activated from the injured list.
