Manager Dave Roberts said it was a "possibility" Seager (hamstring) is activated before the All-Star break, though it's still unlikely, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Seager played in simulated games Tuesday and Wednesday and said he'd know Thursday whether a rehab assignment is necessary, per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports. The Dodgers previously said the 25-year-old was slated for rehab games during the All-Star break, but his progress has apparently been more accelerated than anticipated, giving him a slight chance of returning this weekend.

Crawford sits for the fourth game in a row Wednesday against the Padres, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Crawford's previous three days off came against lefties, but he'll sit against righty Cal Quantrill on Wednesday. He doesn't seem to be battling any injury, so it may be that he's losing time due to his poor .223/.289/.343 slash line. Donovan Solano again starts at shortstop.

Arcia is not starting Wednesday against the Reds.

Arcia sits for the fourth time in six games. He owns a 78 wRC+ at the plate this season and hasn't graded out positively on defense by either Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) or Ultimate Zone Rating (UZR). Tyler Saladino starts at shortstop.

Adames is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Orioles, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.

He is hitting .216 with 15 strikeouts over his last 10 games, but also has three home runs over that stretch. Joey Wendle starts at second base while Michael Brosseau gets the nod at the keystone.

Marcano went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Low-A Fort Wayne's win over Lake County on Tuesday.

Marcano struggled over the final three weeks of June after missing the start of the month with a thumb injury. He's off to a nice start to July, reaching base in seven of his 10 plate appearances so far (five hits, two walks). Overall, the 19-year-old is batting .290/.348/.361 in 277 plate appearances, with a 9.7 percent strikeout rate highlighting his best tool. Marcano is only 6-for-14 on the basepaths this year, but he has plus speed and there is hope that his efficiency will improve in time.

Fletcher went 1-for-4 with a double, two walks and three runs Tuesday in the Angels' 9-4 win over the Rangers.

The Angels' main leadoff man versus left-handed pitching, Fletcher once again got the job while slotting in atop the lineup. Fletcher's place in the starting nine is less secure when right-handers are on the mound for the opposition, though there could be regular room for both him and Luis Rengifo if the shin injury Tommy La Stella suffered Tuesday necessitates a trip to the 10-day injured list.

Gordon (quadriceps) went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base, an RBI and a run Tuesday in the Mariners' 5-4 win over the Cardinals.

Monday's off day afforded Gordon enough time to recover from the quad injury he sustained in Saturday's extra-inning loss to Houston. The veteran missed just one start due to the injury, which didn't seem to hamper him on the bases Tuesday while he added another steal to his ledger. He's now 15-for-17 on stolen-base attempts this season, with his 88.2 percent success rate representing a new career best.

Velazquez (undisclosed) was traded from Tampa Bay to Cleveland on Wednesday in exchange for international bonus pool money.

The 24-year-old utility man has just 24 big-league plate appearances to his name and hasn't done much with them, slashing .182/.250/.273. He owns a respectable .271/.329/.450 slash line for Triple-A Durham this season. He'll be assigned to the minor-league injured list with Triple-A Columbus due to an undisclosed injury.

Wendle went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, two stolen bases and a run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Wendle's final line had to have fantasy managers wistfully reminiscing about last season, as the versatile infielder put on a performance worthy of his breakout 2018. Those have been very few and far between for Wendle thus far in an injury-shortened season, most clearly evidenced by his .184/.276/.237 line through 87 plate appearances. Obscured in those abysmal numbers is the fact Wendle seems to be breaking out of his early skid, however -- factoring in Tuesday's performance, he's hitting .333 (10-for-30) with three doubles, two RBI, three walks, three stolen bases and four runs over his last nine games.

Rojas went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run in Tuesday's loss to the Nationals.

The 30-year-old just keeps on racking up base knocks. Rojas has seven multi-hit performances in his last 12 games, slashing .417/.473/.542 over that stretch, albeit without much production -- zero homers, one steal, five RBI and seven runs. In fact, he's still looking for his first home run this season after slugging a career-high 11 in 2018. However, Rojas already has a career-best 20 doubles to go along with a .294 batting average, so some of those two-baggers could start flying over the fence in the second half.
