Lindor is not starting Monday against the White Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

With the team locked into the third seed in the AL playoffs, the Indians can afford to give their starters days off over the final week. Erik Gonzalez will start in Lindor's place Monday.

Story (elbow) will start at shortstop Monday against the Phillies, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

Story has been cleared to rejoin the lineup after missing the last six games with an elbow injury. The shortstop, who is hitting .288/.343/.550 with 33 homers and 26 stolen bases through 149 games this season, figures to immediately slot back into the heart of the team's lineup. He'll face right-hander Zach Eflin in his first game back.

Owings will lead off and start in right field Monday against the Dodgers.

Owings will pick up his third start in five games after going 5-for-7 with a home run, three RBI and two runs over his previous two appearances. With Arizona officially eliminated from the postseason after losing its series to the Rockies over the weekend, manager Torey Lovullo will likely empty his bench more liberally over the final week of the regular season. That should translate to more playing time for the likes of Owings, who appears poised to finish the year strong after slashing just .195/.262/.281 over 282 plate appearances with the big club prior to his recent surge.

Correa (back) is not yet back in the lineup Monday against Toronto, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Correa will sit for the fifth straight game while battling a back injury. It's unclear how much more time he'll need to miss. A back injury cost him 36 games over the summer and he hasn't looked like the same player since he returned, hitting just .174/.257/.223 in 34 games. The Astros can afford to be cautious with him, as they hold a 4.5-game lead over the Athletics with just seven games remaining. Alex Bregman will continue to start at shortstop Monday, with J.D. Davis at third base.

Bogaerts (shoulder) is starting Monday against the Orioles, Evan Drellich of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Bogaerts left Sunday's game against Cleveland with a sore left shoulder. He reportedly felt better as soon as he left the game, and that appears to be the case, as he won't wind up missing a single start. He'll hit cleanup and play shortstop against the Orioles.

Adames (illness) remains out of the lineup Monday against the Yankees.

Adames sat out Sunday's contest due to illness and will not start Monday either. It's unclear how many more days he's expected to miss. Joey Wendle will again slide over to shortstop in his absence, with Brandon Lowe starting at second base.

Bogaerts said his left shoulder felt better soon after leaving Sunday's game against the Indians, Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reports.

Bogaerts experienced a pinching sensation in his left shoulder after a couple of swings in the seventh inning and was removed from the game. He tried to stay in, but manager Alex Cora was having none of that. The shortstop reported the shoulder felt better soon after he returned to the clubhouse and after a stability test revealed no damage. The incident may put the kibosh on the manager's stated goal of giving Bogaerts a chance to reach 100 RBI over the final week of the season, but Cora will want to get him back out for a couple of games in preparation for the postseason.

Crawford went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 9-2 loss to St. Louis.

Crawford was the lone bright spot for the Giants in an otherwise lifeless showing against starter Miles Mikolas. The 31-year-old needed exactly one extra game (four plate appearances) to match last year's mark of 14 homers. Crawford's .256/.322/.397 slash line is right on par with his 2017 marks, as he's providing another season of modest production at the shortstop position.

Wendle went 1-for-2 with an RBI double, two walks and a run in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

As he's done virtually all season, Wendle both set the table and had a direct hand in run production as well. The 28-year-old's .417 on-base percentage during September has one-upped an already impressive .373 August figure, and an outstanding second half of the season overall has his season line sitting at a fantasy-friendly .301/.356/.439.

Bogaerts was lifted from the contest as a precaution, and he'll be considered day-to-day moving forward. The Red Sox may elect to rest him until the postseason, given they've already clinched the division title.
