Story doubled in an RBI in the fourth inning and later came around to score in the same inning. He then came around to score his second run of the game in the sixth inning, adding an insurance tally for the Rockies. While he hasn't homered since August 19, Story continues to produce in other ways, racking up five steals and seven runs scored across 45 at-bats. If he remains aggressive on the basepaths, he has an outside chance at recording a 30-30 season while also providing a solid batting average and strong counting stats.

Swanson went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Pirates.

He continues to flash some surprising power, as nine of Swanson's last 17 hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles, six homers), giving him a .293/.344/.655 slash line over his last 17 games. The 24-year-old's .246/.303/.416 line on the year is less impressive, but he showed at the beginning of the season he's capable of prolonged hot streaks.

Reyes' contract was selected by the Pirates on Saturday.

The 24-year-old has yet to appear in a major-league game. He hit a solid .289/.341/.435 for Triple-A Indianapolis this season and will likely fill a utility role for the Pirates in September.

The Diamondbacks recalled Owings from Triple-A Reno on Saturday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Owings was listed among a slew of new roster members for September expansion. The 27-year-old carries a lackluster .198/.267/.287 line with three homers and nine stolen bases across 273 major-league plate appearances this year and will probably top out at one or two starts per week -- mostly against left-handers -- while serving in a utility role. NL-only fantasy players could find some help here if depth is an issue.

Gordon is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

Gordon heads to the bench for the second time in the last four games despite having a modest seven-game hitting streak in which he is 9-for-27. Robinson Cano grabs the start at second base with Ryon Healy at first base Saturday.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Saturday's game at Miami.

Diaz, who will head to the bench after starting the last seven games, slashed .258/.296/.473 with five home runs in August. Lourdes Gurriel will start at shortstop and lead off while Devon Travis is at second base, batting second.

Arcia is not starting Saturday against Washington.

Arcia hit a solid .283 in August, though he walked just once and had just three extra-base hits, giving him an unremarkable .283/.296/.377 slash line. Jonathan Schoop will be the Brewers' shortstop Saturday.

Crawford's absence from the starting lineup the last two games was due to a left knee issue, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The nature of the issue is currently unclear, but the Giants aren't overly concerned, considering him day-to-day. Alen Hanson will likely continue to start at shortstop as long as Crawford remains out.
