Correa went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and two RBI in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

It's the first time since early May that Correa has collected multiple extra-base hits in one game. The 24-year-old is not in the lineup for the nightcap and entered the day with a .175/.284/.211 slash line in September.

Ahmed is not starting Saturday against the Padres.

Wendle sits after making 12 straight starts. He grabbed a hit in 11 of those contests, hitting .378 with a 1.049 OPS overall. Brandon Lowe will start at second base in his absence, with Andrew Velasquez at third.

The Astros will use a total of 16 different players to start either or both games Saturday, with most players resting for at least one of the two matchups. The rookie is closing out the season on a high note, as Friday's production pushed his September average to .325. He's now contributed three two-hit efforts in his last six contests, and his 25 hits and 13 walks have led to a .422 on-base percentage in September.

Reyes is not in the lineup against the Reds on Saturday.

Reyes will be withheld from the starting lineup for a second consecutive game as Adam Frazier gets another start in right field.

Bogaerts is out of the lineup versus the Yankees on Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
