Ahmed went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

Ahmed got the scoring started in the first inning with his 12th round tripper before adding another extra-base hit later in the tilt. Even coming off of an 0-for-7 showing Sunday, the 28-year-old is now hitting .324 (11-for-34) in July with three doubles, a triple and two home runs to bring his slash line up to .229/.287/.431 on the year.

Correa (back) fielded groundballs from a stationary stance on the field before Monday's game, Christian Boutwell of MLB.com reports.

While it was a minor achievement, this marks the first baseball activities for Correa since he landed on the disabled list. He is still not swinging a bat or moving in the field or on the bases, so there is no expectation that he will be back until sometime after the All-Star break.

Wendle went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs in a win over the Mets on Sunday.

Wendle slugged the last of three round trippers for the Rays, launching an eighth-inning solo blast off reliever Paul Sewald. The versatile infielder has thrived in his brief opportunities filling the leadoff spot this season, as he's now hitting .385 (6-for-13) with Sunday's homer, two RBI, three walks and six runs from the top of the order.

Adames (illness) is starting at second base and hitting ninth Monday against the Tigers, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.

He missed a couple games over the weekend with an illness, but is healthy enough to return. Adames is hitting .242/.301/.364 with two home runs and one stolen base in his last 20 games (66 at-bats).

Gordon (back) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored Sunday in the Mariners' 6-4 win over the Rockies.

Gordon was back in the leadoff spot one day after the back injury confined him to the bench. Given that Gordon played the field all nine innings and turned in a quality showing at the plate, fantasy owners should have no reservations about keeping him active in the final week before the All-Star break.

Correa (back) has not participated in baseball activities since being placed on the 10-day disabled list, Hunter Atkins of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Manager A.J. Hinch said Correa hasn't progressed as fast as the Astros were hoping and are taking it day-to-day. The manager hasn't ruled out a return before the All-Star break, but that can't be considered until Correa is able to starting hitting, throwing and taking grounders.

Adrianza (hamstring) is expected to return from the 10-day disabled list when first eligible Thursday against the Rays, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Adrianza hit the DL with the left hamstring strain July 2, the same date Jorge Polanco was reinstated from an 80-game suspension. Polanco has since taken over as the Twins' everyday shortstop, so Adrianza will probably have to settle for a utility role once activated. Adrianza has logged time at all four infield spots this season and is capable of manning left field if needed.

Story went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-4 loss to Seattle.

It was just Story's seventh game in the month of July, but he already has five multi-hit outings with three extra-base hits. He raised his season slash line to .284/.348/.531 in 341 at-bats. Story also has 17 home runs and 11 stolen bases, giving him strong fantasy value among middle infielders.

Ahmed will start at shortstop and bat second Sunday against the Padres.

Ahmed will move to the top third of the lineup in the series finale with lefty Clayton Richard on the mound for San Diego, but the shortstop frequently plummets to the No. 7 or 8 spot in the order versus right-handers. The low slotting didn't prevent Ahmed from making a major fantasy impact in Saturday's 20-5 win over the Padres, with the 28-year-old belting his 11th home run of the season, walking twice, and driving in three runs in the rout.

Gordon (back) will bat leadoff and start at second base in Sunday's series finale against the Rockies.

Gordon left Friday's game due to a back injury and was held out Saturday as a precaution, but will return to his regular role for the series finale. The infielder opened the month of July on a five-game hitting streak, but owns just a .560 OPS since June 1.
