Gordon (back) will bat leadoff and start at second base in Sunday's series finale against the Rockies.

Gordon left Friday's game due to a back injury and was held out Saturday as a precaution, but will return to his regular role for the series finale. The infielder opened the month of July on a five-game hitting streak, but owns just a .560 OPS since June 1.

Story (foot) is back in the starting lineup Sunday against the Mariners.

Story was hit by a pitch Friday night and ended up getting scratched from Saturday's lineup due to what was described as a foot bruise. The injury doesn't appear to be a long-term concern, however, as Story will return to action after just one day on the shelf. Story, who is one of just four players in the National League with 60 or more RBI entering Sunday, will resume his regular role at shortstop and bat cleanup in the order.

Adames (illness) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Adames was scratched from the lineup ahead of Saturday's contest and is apparently still under the weather a day later. The rookie's absence will allow Adeiny Hechavarria to pick up a second consecutive start at shortstop.

Diaz is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees.

Manager John Gibbons' decision to open up an everyday role in the middle infield for Lourdes Gurriel has proven detrimental to Diaz and Devon Travis, who have received more frequent benchings to accommodate the rookie. Diaz will sit for the second time in four games after hitting his eighth home run of the season Saturday in the Blue Jays' 8-5 loss.

Anderson went 0-for-4 and stole a base in Saturday's 12-6 loss to the Astros.

Anderson was held out of the White Sox's previous game after getting plunked by a pitch on the left forearm, but his legs still work fine. The steal was his 21st of the season, which ties him for fifth in the majors.

Camargo went 1-for-4 with two RBI on Saturday against the Brewers.

Camargo came through with a timely single in the first inning to drive in both of his runs. He's now driven in eight runs in his past 10 games. The 24-year-old switch hitter has quietly put together a solid season, hitting .256/.355/.445 over 211 at-bats.

Baez went 4-for-5 with a solo home run and two RBI in Saturday's comeback win over the Reds.

Baez had a great afternoon, launching his 17th home run of the season in the seventh inning as part of a rally that saw the Cubs overcome a 7-2 deficit. The dynamic 25-year-old is now batting .294 with an .892 OPS, and he also has 15 steals, making him one of the most complete players in fantasy baseball.

Lopez was placed on the minor-league disabled list with a broken left thumb, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Lopez began the season as the youngest player in the Midwest League and has a .224/.280/.358 slash line with 80 strikeouts in 246 at-bats for Low-A Fort Wayne. It remains unclear how long the 18-year-old will be on the disabled list or whether he requires surgery, but the TinCaps should be without the young shortstop for the foreseeable future.

D'Arnaud's contract was purchased by the Giants on Saturday.

The 31-year-old has a .223/.278/.306 line in parts of six big-league seasons. He's a versatile player, appearing everywhere but catcher and pitcher over the course of his career, and he'll likely serve a utility role during his time with the club. Joe Panik was placed on the disabled list with a groin strain in a corresponding move.

Fletcher will sit for the second straight game Saturday against the Dodgers, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.

Fletcher had been working into a fairly regular role, starting seven straight games heading into Friday's contest, but he'll now sit in favor of Luis Valbuena for the second straight game. Fletcher has a .294/.345/.373 line in 19 games this season.
