Baez (groin) will bat third and play second base against the Marlins on Wednesday.

Baez was forced to leave Monday's game due to right groin tightness and was held out of Tuesday's starting lineup, though he did enter the game as a pinch hitter. The infielder shouldn't face any restrictions moving forward. Over 32 games this season, he's hitting .290/.333/.653 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI and three stolen bases.

Story went 2-for-3 with a walk, double, triple and two RBI in Tuesday's win over the Angels.

Story entered the game in the midst of a 3-for-27 stretch, but he broke out of it with his first multiple extra-base hit game of the season. The .233 average and 31.1 strikeout percentage continue to leave something to be desired, but his seven home runs and 23 RBI continue to lead all NL shortstops.

Gordon went 3-for-5 with a run scored and stolen base Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Dee Gordon continued his red-hot stretch of hitting Tuesday, recording his sixth multi-hit performance across his last nine starts. In that span, he has seen his average rise from .277 to .353 while also stealing six bases and scoring eight runs. He's produced exactly as expected, and his value is amplified by the fact that he remains eligible at second base.

Baez (groin) could return to the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Baez is available to pinch hit Tuesday, so it doesn't look like he's dealing with a serious injury. If his condition keeps improving, it's not out of the question for him to be back in action Wednesday for the Cubs' series finale versus Miami. Tommy La Stella is starting at second base Tuesday night while Baez rests.

Baez continues to nurse groin tightness that forced his removal from Monday's game, so he'll open Tuesday's contest on the bench. Fortunately, the issue doesn't appear to be anything that will keep him sidelined for an extended period of time, as he relayed to Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com that he's available to pinch hit if needed. Tommy La Stella will start at the keystone and hit sixth in his stead.

Urena was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Urena was optioned to Buffalo just two days ago, but he'll head back to the big leagues to replace the injured Aledmys Diaz (ankle) on the active roster. It's unlikely that the 22-year-old will see much playing time with Toronto.

Diaz was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left ankle sprain Tuesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Fortunately, X-rays on Diaz's ankle came back clean, but he'll require a stint on the disabled list nonetheless. It's unclear how long he'll be sidelined as a result of this injury, though the earliest he can return from the DL is May 18. Richard Urena will replace him on the active roster while Lourdes Gurriel will serve as the primary replacement at shortstop in the interim.

Wendle is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Braves.

As expected, Wendle will take his normal spot on the bench with a lefty (Sean Newcomb) toeing the rubber for the opposition. In his place, Daniel Robertson will start at the keystone and hit fifth.

Bichette went 1-for-2 with a double, three walks and a stolen base for Double-A New Hampshire in its 10-2 victory over Portland on Monday.

New Hampshire teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has justifiably received much of the attention from minor-league observers this season, but Bichette has certainly held his own in his first taste of the Eastern League. With five walks in his last two games, Bichette is now up to a 13.1 BB% for the season, four percentage points better than any mark he has posted at any level of the minors. The elite on-base skills have allowed Bichette to frequently showcase his wheels, with his nine steals on the campaign ranking third in the circuit.

Turner went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Monday's win over the Padres.

The homer was his third of the season, and second in five days. Turner now carries a .365/.459/.577 slash line over his last 14 games with nine RBI, 12 runs and four steals, and hitting at the top of a dangerous Nats lineup should allow him to continue racking up fantasy production.
