Adames hit for the cycle while going 4-for-5 in Triple-A Durham's 8-1 win over Buffalo on Monday. He compiled three RBI and scored twice.

The spectacular night came one day after Adames slugged his first career grand slam against Lehigh Valley, Rob Terranova of MiLB.com reports. Adames saw his average jump 45 points with his four-hit effort, and he's now hit safely in six straight games. Following a slow start to his campaign, Adames' line is up to .345/.441/.582 over his first 16 contests.

Seager is not in the lineup Monday against the Marlins.

The young star has nine hits in the past seven games, but he'll head to the bench for his second night off of the season with lefty Jarlin Garcia taking the hill for Miami. Enrique Hernandez will pick up a start at shortstop in his stead.

Gordon (foot) is back in the lineup after missing just one start, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Gordon didn't start Sunday while nursing a sore foot, but he was able to make a pinch-hit appearance. The issue was clearly a minor one as he's already back in the starting lineup. Gordon is hitting .321 with a league-leading nine steals in his first 20 games for Seattle.

Wendle went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a run in a win over the Twins on Sunday.

The versatile infielder was a thorn in the side of Twins pitching during the three-game set, going 6-for-13 with a triple, Sunday's RBI and three runs. It's the extension of a stellar April for Wendle, one that's seen him hit .333 over 59 plate appearances while lacing six extra-base hits (three doubles, two triples, one home run).

Story went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Cubs.

Story had a quiet start to the weekend series at Coors Field but corrected that with his showing Sunday. Most of his damage came off left-handed starter Jose Quintana, improving his slash line to .276/.382/.552 in 29 at-bats against southpaws this season. Though that is a small sample, he has performed similarly against them in the first few seasons of his career.

Baez went 2-for-6 with a home run, double, three RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Baez took full advantage of his weekend at Coors Field, going 7-for-16 with two home runs and seven RBI across the three-game series. That performance served as a punctuation mark for his hot start to the season as he is slugging an incredible .736 through 72 at-bats this season.

DeJong went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Reds.

The three-run blast helped break open the game in the seventh inning, turning a 3-2 lead into a 6-2 margin. The 24-year-old is starting to heat up, as he's left the yard in back-to-back games and in three of the last five, bringing his home run total up to seven on the year -- good for a tie for third in the NL behind just Bryce Harper and Charlie Blackmon.

Ahmed went 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored during Sunday's win over the Padres.

Ahmed recorded his third home run and drove in his tenth and eleventh run of the season with a two-run blast in the fourth inning. Prior to Sunday's home run, he'd been struggling through a 0-for-17 stretch at the dish. Ahmed will look to turn his performance at the plate around during the Diamondbacks' upcoming series with the Phillies.

Lindor went 2-for-5 with a run scored and one RBI in Sunday's victory over the Orioles.

Lindor's multi-hit effort was a welcomed performance as the 24-year-old has struggled to consistently perform at the plate since the season got underway. His batting average has yet to eclipse .241 and is sitting at just .220 after 19 games. While his slow start is disappointing for fantasy owners, he'll have plenty of opportunities to turn things around while seeing regular time at shortstop in Cleveland's high-powered lineup.

Owings will start in right field and bat fifth Sunday against the Padres.

Owings sat out the series opener Friday after exiting early a night earlier against the Padres following his collision with teammate A.J. Pollock. The utility man escaped with only a contusion on his head, so the Diamondbacks cleared Owings to start in Saturday's 6-2 win. Owings went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and was caught stealing in the contest, with his activity on the basepaths in particular suggesting that his injury wasn't anything worrisome.
