Wendle is out of the lineup against Seattle on Friday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Wendle will take a seat with left-hander Marco Gonzales on the mound for the Mariners. In his place, Christian Arroyo will draw a start at the keystone and bat eighth.

Correa (side) received good results from Thursday's MRI and stated that he's day-to-day moving forward, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Correa described the results of the tests as "great news" and added that he's optimistic that he will be back on the field soon. Whether that comes Friday or later on this weekend, that remains to be seen, but in all likelihood, it appears as though he didn't sustain a significant injury. In his absence, Marwin Gonzalez will start at shortstop for Thursday's series opener.

Correa (side) is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against Texas, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Correa was forced to exit Wednesday's contest with right side discomfort prior to the top of the eighth inning and he will get the night off as the club begins a four-game set in Arlington. The Astros have yet to describe the severity of Correa's injury, so consider him day-to-day ahead of Friday's tilt.

Anderson is not in the lineup against Minnesota on Thursday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Anderson will head to the bench for the series finale as Jose Rondon picks up a start at shortstop. Over the past 12 games, Anderson is hitting .295 with a 1.036 OPS and 13 RBI.

Turner went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Rays.

Turner reached on a pair of singles in the first and sixth innings and came around to score each time. His 17 stolen bases are the third most in the majors, trailing only Ender Inciarte and Dee Gordon. Turner is now hitting .258/.342/.398 with seven homers, 24 RBI and 35 runs across 61 games this season.

Correa exited Wednesday's game against the Mariners with right side discomfort, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Correa was 1-for-3 with a walk before being replaced by Marwin Gonzalez prior to the top of the eighth inning. He apparently felt something during his final at-bat in the seventh inning, though specifics remain unclear at this point. Consider the shortstop day-to-day for now. He'll be reevaluated Thursday.

Crawford (forearm) was activated from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Look for Crawford to join the starting lineup within the next couple days as the Phillies continue a three-game set against the Cubs on Wednesday night. During his rehab assignment, Crawford played in five games with High-A Clearwater before joining Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday. Moving forward, it's unclear if Crawford will return to an everyday role at shortstop, especially since he had not been doing much -- hitting just .188/.246/.328 in 21 games -- prior to his injury. In a corresponding move, Mitch Walding was optioned to Lehigh Valley.

Arcia is not in the lineup versus the Indians on Wednesday.

Eric Sogard will draw a start at shortstop for the series finale while Arcia gets a day off following four straight games in the starting nine. Since being recalled from Triple-A last week, Arcia has gone 4-for-14 with one RBI.

Crawford went 1-for-2 with an RBI double and two walks in Tuesday's loss to the visiting Diamondbacks.

Crawford slashed a double -- his 14th of the year -- off Patrick Corbin in the fifth, bringing around Mac Williamson to give Crawford his 26th RBI. The shortstop continues to light it up at the plate, hitting .500 with four extra-base hits through the first five games of June. Crawford's slash line is now .322/.371/.500 with 22 extra-base hits. The 31-year-old's .871 OPS ranks fourth among all MLB shortstops.

Swanson went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two runs and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Padres.

Swanson registered an RBI single in the fourth and then swatted a two-run homer -- his sixth of the year -- in the next inning. Swanson is hitting .274/.335/.457 with 19 extra-base hits, 25 RBI and 22 runs scored, putting him around the middle of the pack with respect to MLB shortstops.
