Crawford is out of the lineup for the second time in three days Monday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Scott Kingery will make his third start of the season at shortstop in Crawford's place. It was clear when Kingery made the Opening Day roster that he would play all over the diamond and steal starts from several different Phillies. As of Monday, Crawford will be the one most affected by Kingery's presence. It was thought that third baseman Maikel Franco's job would be the most at risk, but with Franco hitting .304/.385/.696 compared to .043/.083/.043 for Crawford, it's Crawford who is losing out. He'll need to start hitting if he's to win more playing time.

Bogaerts was sent for tests on his injured left ankle Monday, Evan Drellich of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Bogaerts suffered the ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Rays after sliding into the protective netting near the Tampa Bay dugout. While it's encouraging that the shortstop wasn't immediately sent to the disabled list, he's set to undergo treatment Monday to determine whether a stint on the shelf is ultimately necessary. If Bogaerts is ultimately forced onto the DL, Brock Holt would likely step into the starting lineup in his place (whether it be at short stop or second base). More should be known once the results from Monday's examinations are disclosed.

Swanson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Rockies.

He went yard back-to-back with Nick Markakis in the sixth inning, giving Swanson his first homer of the season. The young shortstop is enjoying a blistering start at the plate, slashing .382/.400/.518 through eight games, and while those numbers will come down he should settle in as a much better hitter than he showed in 2017.

Turner went 1-for-5 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Mets.

Despite the fact that he's hitting lower in the order, Turner already has five steals in five attempts through nine games. It's clear new manager Dave Martinez has no qualms about giving Turner a green light on the basepaths, so while the shortstop's outlook in steals would improve if he were hitting first or second in the lineup, he seems well on his way to matching or topping last season's career-high 46 steals from right where he is.

Ahmed (illness) went 1-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals.

After he was confined to the bench for the previous four games while recovering from flu-like symptoms, Ahmed didn't miss a beat in his return to the lineup, reaching base in two of his four plate appearances to boost his OBP to .480 for the season. Ahmed has credited a change in his swing path for his surprising start to the campaign, so it may be unwise to bank on his simply regressing to his career .230/.278/.353 line once his .533 BABIP normalizes. Even once his bat inevitably cools down, Ahmed could still retain utility in deeper settings if at least some of his gains in the power department are maintained.

Anderson went 1-for-3 and stole a base in Sunday's 1-0 loss to the Tigers.

Anderson has successfully pilfered all five bases he's attempted to steal through the first 10 games. By comparison, he didn't register his fifth steal in 2017 until June 8, his 51st game. In addition to his increased larceny, Anderson has been a bit more patient at the plate to start the season. He's walked four times in 33 plate appearances (12.1 percent), compared to 13 free passes in all of 2017.

Rojas went 1-for-4 with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Phillies.

Rojas has gotten consistent at-bats while J.T. Riddle remains out of the lineup. He's produced precious little in 34 at-bats as he only has two RBI and three runs scored after his performance today. He's currently offering mere empty playing time and will lose all fantasy relevance once Riddle returns.

Bogaerts was diagnosed with a left ankle injury after exiting Sunday's game against the Rays, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.

While this confirms that Bogaerts hurt his ankle, no information has been revealed regarding the severity of the injury, although more should be known as the team has the chance to evaluate him further. Should Bogaerts have to miss time, look for Brock Holt to start in his place, though he could man second base while Eduardo Nunez slides over to short.

Bogaerts was removed in the top of seventh inning Sunday against the Rays after sustaining an apparent left ankle injury when he slid into a protective railing near the Tampa Bay dugout, Sean McAdam of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Bogaerts was able to exit the field under his own power but was visibly limping to the Red Sox clubhouse. Brock Holt came off the bench to replace Bogaerts at shortstop. Expect the Red Sox to provide an update on Bogaerts' condition after the game.

Crawford is not in the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Crawford -- who is hitting just .200 to begin the season -- went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts during the Saturday contest and will be given the day off in the series finale against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers. Kelby Tomlinson will slot in at shortstop and bat eighth.
