Through the first four games of the season, Baez is 1-for-15 with a walk and four strikeouts.

The slow start includes an 0-for-7 game in Friday's 17-inning marathon against the Marlins. Baez batted .273 in each of the last two seasons, so he'll likely get going soon enough, though manager Joe Maddon could turn to veteran Ben Zobrist for some occasional starts at second base while the 25-year-old works his way out of this early slump.

Anderson went 1-for-4 and had a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 comeback win over the Royals.

Anderson promised he'd be swiping more bags in 2018, so we shouldn't be too surprised by Saturday's theft. His 15 steals last year marked a respectable effort, but he had just six through the end of August. In 2018, we should see Anderson run all season long. The 24-year-old shortstop, who hit 17 home runs in 2017 and bopped two on Opening Day, should develop more power as he matures. Along with an increased dedication to steals, he could turn into a 20-20 player in 2018.

Diaz is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees.

Though he'll give way to Gift Ngoepe on Sunday, Diaz looks set to act as the team's primary shortstop while Troy Tulowitzki (ankle) is on the 60-day disabled list. Though Diaz delivered a stellar campaign as a rookie with the Cardinals in 2016, he took a dramatic step back last season and hasn't recovered since moving to Toronto over the winter. Diaz has followed up an underwhelming spring training with an 0-for-9 start at the dish to begin the current campaign.

Wendle will start at second base and bat sixth Sunday against the Red Sox, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Rays haven't been entirely forthright about their plans at second base this season, but if their lineups through the first four games of the season are any indication, Wendle will fill the larger side of a platoon with Daniel Robertson at the position. After hitting the bench for the first two games with the Red Sox bringing southpaws Chris Sale and David Price to the hill, Wendle is picking up his second straight start against a right-hander after going hitless but collecting his first RBI of the season Saturday.

Rojas is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cubs, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Rojas has recorded a base hit in each of the first three games of the year (all starts), and owns a .438 on-base percentage helped by three walks in Friday's 17-inning marathon. He'll get his first day off of the season Sunday afternoon, however, giving way to Yadiel Rivera at shortstop.

Bogaerts went 3-for-4 Saturday against the Rays with a double, a home run, two RBI and one run scored.

There hasn't been a hotter player than Bogaerts to start the season as he already notched five doubles. It's apparent that the wrist injury that plagued him in the second half of last season is not currently an issue for him. Still just 25, Bogaerts could see a step up in power production this season.

Correa went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI against the Rangers on Saturday.

Correa had his first big performance of the season, though it surely won't be his last. He continued to show the ability to hit both right-handed and left-handed pitching well, hitting a double off Matt Moore before taking Jesse Chavez deep in the seventh inning. Correa is hitting in the heart of the excellent Astros lineup, so fantasy numbers should keep coming in bunches.

Noonan was released by Oakland on Saturday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.

Noonan earned an invite to Oakland's spring training but was reassigned to minor-league camp after going 2-for-15 in 10 games. The 28-year-old hasn't seen the majors since 2016 and has only 83 career games (155 plate appearances) and a .193/.239/.234 slash line.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk and two runs scored Saturday against the Reds.

Turner contributed to a 13-7 rout with a solo shot off Luis Castillo to lead off the fourth inning. He batted sixth for the second straight game, though he came to the plate five times in the high-scoring affair.

Arcia is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.

Arcia will head to the bench for Saturday's series finale after starting the team's first two games of the season, going 2-for-9 with one RBI. In his place, Eric Sogard will start at shortstop and hit sixth.
