Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Progressing from wrist injury
Turner (wrist) has begun rehabbing at the Nationals' spring training complex in West Palm Beach, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.
The shortstop has yet to be cleared for baseball activities, but he's running and staying in shape while he waits for the go-ahead to start fielding and swinging a bat. The Nats have yet to release a timetable for Turner's return, although the team has indicated that he's on schedule.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Returns to lineup
Bogaerts (hand) is back in the lineup for Thursday's game against Toronto, Evan Drellich of WEEI.com reports.
Bogaerts missed the past two days while dealing with a muscle contusion and a small sprain in his hand, but returns to the field for the series finale. He slides into the sixth spot of the order while playing his typical position at short. This injury dates back to when Bogaerts was hit by a pitch against the Rays on July 6, and since then, he has gone 4-for-26 from the plate with zero extra-base hits.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Clubs 15th homer Wednesday
Seager went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the White Sox.
The 23-year-old extended his current hitting streak to nine games, and Seager is now slashing .340/.400/.600 in July with three homers and 10 RBI through 12 games.

Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Expected to play Thursday
Bogaerts (hand) is expected back in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against the Blue Jays, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.
Bogaerts had been scratched from Tuesday's game and sat out Wednesday with what's been described as a muscle contusion and a small sprain in his hand.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Cardinals' Aledmys Diaz: Continues working with hitting coach in Triple-A
Diaz (personal), who is slashing .217/.229/.348 through 11 games with Triple-A Memphis, continues to work closely with Redbirds hitting coach Mark Budaska, Alaina Getzenberg of MLB.com reports.
Much like teammate Randal Grichuk, Diaz was unexpectedly sent to Memphis earlier in the season, although the latter's serviceable .260/.293/.396 line made his demotion even more surprising. At the time, the Cuban shortstop was struggling with pitch selection and dealing with thumb and ankle ailments, which certainly may have played a part in his struggles. Budaska, who also worked with Grichuk during his Redbirds tenure in late May and early June, has been focusing on helping Diaz improve his plate discipline and pitch recognition. While his numbers thus far haven't exactly validated the amount of work the two have put in, Diaz did post a pair of multi-hit efforts over his most recent three games before leaving the team until this coming Friday to tend to a personal matter.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Trying to pull out of nosedive
Crawford went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run against Cleveland on Wednesday.
It's been a rough patch for the Giants' shortstop lately -- over his prior 23 games, he managed just a .156/.196/.267 line, although he did somehow manage to accumulate 15 RBI in that time. Even assuming some positive regression from his uncharacteristically low .261 BABIP, there's not a whole lot of fantasy upside here other than in that RBI category, in which Crawford has been surprisingly productive for years.

Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA
Twins' Ehire Adrianza: Doubles in third start in four games
Adrianza went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-1 victory over the Yankees.
This marked Adrianza's third start in four days at shortstop. Wednesday's hitting display also bumped his average up to a strong .309 mark. He doesn't possess much power and he hits in an inopportune spot in the lineup much of the time, but if he continues to hit like this, he may force his way into the lineup more often than not, giving him a semblance of value in deeper leagues.
-
Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Hits two-run shot against Friars
Story went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a triple, three RBI and three runs during Wednesday's win over San Diego.
It's been a disappointing campaign for Story, as he's sporting an underwhelming .235/.312/.422 slash line. Additionally, his 12 homers, 43 RBI and 38 runs are well behind the totals he posted during his rookie year last season. Still, Coors Field can be a huge fantasy boost, and Story has the potential to be a difference-maker going forward.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Belts homer no. 12 Wednesday
Baez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's win against the Braves.
The young utility man continues to swing a hot bat, as Wednesday's clout marked his second homer in as many days and he now holds a .928 OPS over the past 14 games. With Kris Bryant (finger) day-to-day for the time being, Baez seems to be in line to continue getting regular at-bats, although given how hot he's been as of late, it's hard to believe he won't be a staple in the lineup even when Bryant is back in action.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Remains out Wednesday
Bogaerts (hand) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Toronto, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Bogaerts is dealing with a muscle contusion and a small sprain in his hand, and will remain out of the lineup for the second straight game. He should be considered day-to-day moving forward, but could wind up missing a couple more games while he heals from this injury. In his place, Deven Marrero draws the start at short while Brock Holt mans the hot corner for Wednesday's affair.
