Ruben Tejada SS | BAL
Orioles' Ruben Tejada: Passed up on depth chart
Tejada is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
With Tejada riding the pine for the fourth consecutive contest, it appears safe to conclude that Paul Janish has unseated him as the Orioles' primary shortstop while J.J. Hardy (wrist) is sidelined. With six hits in 33 at-bats (.182 average) on the season, Tejada won't offer much fantasy upside even if he settles back into an everyday role down the line.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Out of lineup Wednesday
Crawford is not in the lineup against the Rockies on Wednesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Crawford will get his first day off since June 17 following Tuesday's 14-inning game against Colorado. The shortstop has recorded one hit in each of the past four contests and is currently hitting .238/.281/.379 with six home runs and 37 RBI on the year.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Hopeful to play Wednesday or Thursday
Seager (hamstring) is hopeful to return to the field before the end of the series with the Angels, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Seager has missed the past four games with a Grade 1 hamstring strain that he suffered during last Friday's affair. It appears as though Seager was available to pinch hit off the bench during Tuesday's contest, and although he did not do so, that should come as a good sign concerning the severity of his injury. There's a possibility that Seager will be in the lineup for Wednesday's game, but he should be considered day-to-day as the Dodgers aren't going to force him back until he is completely ready.

Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Drives in two Tuesday
Camargo went 1-for-3 with a two-run double in Tuesday's win over the Padres.
He's now slashing an impressive .353/.378/.500 over his last 10 games with seven RBI and six runs. If the Braves follow through on their plan to try Freddie Freeman at third base when he comes off the DL, Camargo could get bumped to the bench or even back to Triple-A Gwinnett, but at the moment he's doing everything he can to convince the club to leave him at the hot corner.

Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA
Twins' Ehire Adrianza: Beginning rehab assignment Thursday
Adrianza (abdomen) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester on Thursday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Twins manager Paul Molitor said the team would like Adrianza to play a total of three rehab games before being activated from the DL on Monday, so it's shaping up to be a busy weekend for the young infielder. The switch hitter has been out since June 22 with the injury, but recent evaluations revealed nothing of concern. Adrianza is slashing .259/.323/.333 this season while working out of a limited reserve role and missed an early portion of the season due to a right oblique strain.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Swipes four bags Tuesday
Turner went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and four stolen bases in Tuesday's win over the Cubs.
Little more than a week after setting a new franchise record with four steals in a game, Turner does it again. The 23-year-old now has 11 swipes in his last 15 games, pushing him to the top of the MLB leaderboard with 32 on the year -- one more than Billy Hamilton.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Diagnosed with small fracture
Manager Torey Lovullo said Ahmed has a small fracture in his right hand but will undergo further tests.
Ahmed left Tuesday's game after he was hit by a pitch, and subsequent evaluations confirmed the difficult scenario. A trip to the disabled list appears to be on the horizon for the backup shortstop, meaning Daniel Descalso will assume that duty behind regular starter Chris Owings. Expect Ahmed to return sometime after the All-Star break, depending on what trainers deem to be the best course of recovery.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Exits after being hit by pitch
Ahmed exited Tuesday's game against the Cardinals early after being hit by a pitch in the wrist/forearm area, Jack Magruder of FanRagSports.com reports.
Ahmed was 0-for-3 at the plate before being removed from the game in the bottom of the eighth inning after being pelted by a 99 mph fastball from Trevor Rosenthal. Ahmed will likely undergo testing Wednesday, at which point we'll receive word on the severity of his injury.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Pops sixth homer Tuesday
Arcia went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-6 loss to the Reds.
The homer was his sixth of the season, and Arcia is now hitting a sizzling .424 (14-for-33) over his last 10 games. The 22-year-old has made a number of highlight-reel plays on defense since making his major-league debut in 2016, and it looks like his bat is beginning to catch up to his glove.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Will continue wearing glasses
Anderson said after Monday's loss to the Yankees that he plans to wear corrective lenses for the remainder of the season, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
Anderson inquired about additional eye testing beyond what a team normally offers a couple of weeks ago and has been getting used to the lenses since purchasing them. The 24-year-old shortstop has struggled all season but offered a glimmer of hope during Monday's loss when he had two hits and a three-run home run.
