Lindor went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Saturday's loss to the Tigers.

The talented shortstop has been mired in a slump, as he slashed just .214/.261/.339 in June and started his July with an 0-for-4. There's still plenty of reason to believe Lindor will get things turned around, however, as he's striking out just 12.2 percent of the time and his .252 BABIP should inch its way closer to league average as the season progresses. Furthermore, he's shown to be a strong finisher with a career .321/.370/.477 slash line in the second half.

Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with three RBI and three strikeouts in Saturday's win over Toronto.

After sitting out Friday amid a nasty slump, Bogaerts somewhat got himself back on track with his third game of at least three RBI this season. He drove in two runs on an RBI single to extend a lead in the ninth inning and also hit a sac fly in the fifth. Bogaerts was hitting .200/.259/.240 over the last week heading into Saturday, but he maintains a strong .314/.366/.455 slash line for the season. Provided he sticks in the lineup Sunday, he'll face Toronto right-hander Joe Biagini.

Crawford went 0-for-6 in Friday's win over the Pirates, dropping his June batting average to .189 (18-for-95).

The shortstop's ice-cold month dropped his slash line (.232/.274/.369) to levels we haven't seen prior to his breakout season in 2015. Crawford has been fluctuating between fourth and sixth in the lineup all season, so he should remain a solid source of RBI even when hits aren't falling (i.e. his 20 RBI in June).

DeJong went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's 8-1 win over the Nationals.

The rookie continues to impress, with Friday's home run extending his hitting streak to nine games. That stretch includes three homers and helped him finish June with 14 RBI. With Aledmys Diaz having been sent down to Triple-A Memphis, DeJong figures to have an extended opportunity to continue solidifying his standing with the big-league club over the next few weeks at a minimum.

Seager is not in the lineup for Friday's game, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.

Seager returned to action from a hamstring injury Thursday after missing the previous five contests. He will get another day off to rest following an 0-for-4 performance that included two strikeouts. Enrique Hernandez takes over at short Friday, but Seager is likely to be back in the lineup Saturday.

Arcia is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Miami.

With Jonathan Villar returning from a back injury and playing well (two home runs during Thursday's contest), the Brewers can afford to give Arcia an off day. This marks the first game the shortstop will take a seat on the bench since June 5, as Eric Sogard slides over to man his spot while Villar covers second.

D'Arnaud was reinstated from the paternity list Friday, Dennis Lin of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

D'Arnaud was absent for the Padres' series against Atlanta this week as he attended to the birth of his child, but returns in time for the weekend series with the Dodgers. The 30-year-old has seen limited action as a reserve bat this season and hasn't been impressive when he has played, hitting only .200 over 55 at-bats.

Turner (wrist) was put on the 10-day disabled list Friday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

In the least surprising move of the day, the Nationals placed their star shortstop on the DL after he fractured his right wrist during Thursday's game. Adrian Sanchez was called up from Triple-A Syracuse in his place while Sammy Solis (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day DL to provide a 40-man roster spot. There is still no timetable for Turner's return.

Bogaerts is not in the lineup Friday against the Blue Jays, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Bogaerts is just 2-for-23 in his career against Marco Estrada, so manager John Farrell will respect the matchup history and give his shortstop a rare breather. Tzu-Wei Lin will start in his place at shortstop.

Anderson is not in the lineup Friday against the Rangers.

Anderson will take a seat for the second straight game as he tries to clear his head. The 24-year-old has struggled both at the plate and in the field recently, committing three errors (he leads all shortstops with 18) over his past eight contests while slashing just .133/.129/.267 over that same span. Alen Hanson and Yolmer Sanchez will again fill the middle of the White Sox's infield in his absence.
