Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Hopes to return Tuesday
Crawford (groin) will play a minor-league rehab game with Double-A Richmond on Monday with hopes of being activated from the disabled list Tuesday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Crawford had hoped to be activated from the disabled list this weekend, but soggy field conditions made it difficult for him to test his injured groin on the basepaths. If everything goes well during his rehab assignment Monday, the veteran shortstop could rejoin the major-league squad Tuesday in New York.

Chris Owings SS | LAD
Diamondbacks' Chris Owings: Back in action Sunday
Owings (illness) is playing second base and batting fifth in the lineup during Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Owings was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup due to an undisclosed illness. The versatile 25-year-old is apparently feeling better Sunday as he'll slot back into the heart of the Diamondbacks' batting order.

Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Extends hit streak to 10
Bogaerts has hit in 10 straight games after going 3-for-6 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 11-1 win over the Twins.
Bogaerts batted third Saturday but has also hit leadoff (nine games), fifth (four games and sixth (10 games). And he's hit no matter where he's placed in the order. What he hasn't done much of in 2017 is hit for power. He hasn't hit a home run yet and just four of his 33 hits have gone for extra bases. His 21-homer season in 2016 suggested a new normal for the shortstop, but that may not necessarily be the case.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Not in lineup Sunday afternoon
Anderson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Orioles.
Anderson was bumped down to seventh in the order Saturday, and despite collecting a base hit to bring his season average up to a meager .209, the young shortstop will get the day off. According to Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune, manager Rick Renteria gave him the day off to deal with a personal loss. Tyler Saladino will get the starting nod in his stead.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Phillies' J.P. Crawford: Showing improvement in May
Crawford is hitting .159/.282/.193 with two stolen bases in 88 at-bats for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Crawford had a terrible month of April but has bounced back this month with a .250/.400/.250 slash line in 12 at-bats. The young shortstop is striking out more this season, but he is also showing a better eye at the plate than his first taste of Triple-A last season. His .215 BABIP also suggests he has been a bit unlucky. Crawford will likely turn things around, but it is clear he is not going to be earning an early promotion to the majors this season. The Phillies are likely going to want to see sustained success at Triple-A before considering him for a role in the majors.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Indians' Francisco Lindor: Smashes eighth homer Saturday
Lindor went 1-for-5 with a solo homer in Saturday's win over the Royals.
Lindor left the yard for the eighth time this year to give the Indians an insurance run in the ninth inning of a come-from-behind victory. He's done very little to disappoint fantasy owners, as the superstar is slashing .287/.354/.591, which is currently better production then he had in his breakout 2016 campaign.

Chris Owings SS | LAD
Diamondbacks' Chris Owings: Scratched with illness
Owings was scratched from Saturday's contest against the Rockies with an illness, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Owings was originally set to bat second and play right field, though that changed when he started to feel a little under the weather. Gregor Blanco will get the start in right field in his stead. Owings is off to a strong start offensively this season, slashing .308/.351/.505 with five homers and eight stolen bases through 29 games. He should be considered day-to-day until the Diamondbacks update his status, though with an off day coming Monday, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Owings out for the series finale Sunday.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Heads to bench Saturday
Arcia is not in the lineup Saturday against the Pirates.
After going just 1-for-16 over the last four games, Arcia will head to the bench for a breather. Herman Perez will get the start at shortstop for the game, though Arcia should be back on the lineup card for Sunday's series finale in Pittsburgh.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Moved to seventh in lineup
Anderson is hitting seventh Saturday against the Orioles, the Chicago Sun-Times' Daryl Van Schouwen reports.
Prior to this game against righty Dylan Bundy, Anderson had seen 11 games in the leadoff spot and 15 games in the two-hole, but with him hitting .207/.235/.288, the team wanted to take some pressure off his bat. Anderson will need to heat up in order to offer much value, regardless of where he is hitting. Leury Garcia moved to the two-hole and Melky Cabrera moved to the leadoff spot. If Anderson starts to produce, he should be able to reclaim a top spot in the lineup, as Garcia is hardly a qualified No. 2 hitter.
