Baez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

Baez has made back-to-back starts at second base, collecting a RBI in each of those contests. He'll get the day off Sunday night, however, as Ben Zobrist will move in from the outfield to play second, while Chris Coghlan gets the starting nod in left field.

Walters was designated for assignment on Sunday.

Over his last 10 games at Triple-A Oklahoma City, Walters has gone just 6-for-32, bringing his batting average down to .276 for the season. Though he offers some positional versatility, Walters has struggled in his limited big-league opportunities, accruing a .176/.227/.382 line over 85 games. If he clears waivers, Walters will likely stick with the Dodgers organization and report back to Triple-A.

Turner put together his consecutive 3-for-5 effort in Saturday's 7-6 victory over the Braves, with a triple, solo homer and three runs overall.

The dynamic leadoff man was at it again, legging out his fifth three-bagger of the season and blasting his third homer in the third inning off starter Rob Whalen. The 23-year-old now has five multi-hit efforts and all three of his homers in August, and continues to provide outstanding multi-category fantasy production during a month in which he's slashed .313/.327/.625 over 48 at-bats.

Seager went 3-for-5 with an RBI and run in Saturday's 8-4 victory over the Pirates.

He continues to wield a red-hot bat, with five straight multi-hit efforts. Seager also has a pair of doubles, three homers and six RBI over his first 46 at-bats in August and a .304/.347/543 line for the month overall.

Correa went 1-for-3 with a two-RBI double in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

The slugging shorstop was responsible for both of the Astros' runs on the day, opening the scoring on the day with a two-bagger that plated Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve in the first inning. The red-hot Correa now has a nine-game hitting streak and is slashing .314/.386/.588 over his first 51 at-bats of August.

Noonan is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.

Noonan has started three straight since his Padres debut Thursday, but will take a seat in favor of Alexei Ramirez for the Sunday afternoon showdown. The 27-year-old has struck out in four of his first 10 at-bats with San Diego, but will have plenty of chances to right the ship the rest of the way out.

Mondesi is out of the lineup Sunday against the Twins, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

The Royals promoted Mondesi to the big leagues in late July with the hope that he could provide some stability at second base after Whit Merrifield fell into an extended slump, but the 21-year-old has unsurprisingly experienced some growing pains. He's hitting just .196/.211/.250 with four stolen bases across 60 plate appearances since his call-up. Mondesi will be replaced in Sunday's lineup by Christian Colon and could soon be headed back to Triple-A Omaha if he doesn't turn things around quickly.

Gordon is out of the lineup Sunday agains the White Sox, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.

Gordon has started 14 of 15 games at second base since returning from his suspension, but he'll take a seat Sunday with tough southpaw Chris Sale on the mound for the White Sox. Gordon was likely due for a day off anyway after starting nine in a row, but Sunday's move will allow manager Don Mattingly to play matchups as well. The newly-recalled Robert Andino will get the start at second base in Gordon's stead.

Bogaerts is out of the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports.

Bogaerts has had a poor showing at the plate over the last seven days, as he's gone just 4-for-23 (.174) with eight strikeouts in that time. Brock Holt will start at shortstop and hit second while Bogaerts gets a much-needed day off.

O'Malley could continue to lead off and play left field against left-handed pitchers, the Seattle Times reports.

Part of the reason Nori Aoki was sent down in June was his inability to hit left-handers (.174/.186/.439). Since his return in late July, he has started against a lefty once. In his place, Guillermo Heredia played left field and led off against lefties, but he was recently demoted because the Mariners needed another bullpen arm. That leaves the switch-hitting O'Malley now that he's not needed to start at shortstop with Ketel Marte back. O'Malley had two hits, including a run-scoring triple, and a walk in the role Friday night. Manager Scott Servais said he is not committing to the move for good, but the team isn't likely to put Aoki back in the leadoff spot, so unless Heredia is recalled, it looks to be O'Malley's job.
