  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Giants' Willy Adames: Doubles in win

Adames went 1-for-4 with a double in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Angels.

Adames lined a double to left field in the second inning, marking his second two-bagger over the last three games. The veteran shortstop has recorded three doubles in July, during which he's batting just .197 with 13 RBI, 10 runs scored, four home runs and a stolen base in 74 plate appearances. He's now slashing .225/.276/.429 with 50 runs scored, 45 RBI, 18 long balls and two stolen bases across 416 plate appearances on the campaign.

  • Taylor Walls SS | TB

Rays' Taylor Walls: Sitting again Sunday

Walls (fingers) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

It's the fourth straight absence for Walls, who hyperextended the middle and ring fingers on his left hand during a slide into second base Wednesday. Tampa Bay has a team day off Monday, so the 30-year-old will have had nearly a week off to recover by the time Tuesday's series opener versus the Rangers rolls around. Ben Williamson is receiving another start at shortstop Sunday for the Rays.

  • Cooper Pratt SS | MIL

Brewers' Cooper Pratt: Stuffs stat sheet Saturday

Pratt went 3-for-3 with a home run, three total RBI and a stolen base in an 8-5 win over Colorado on Saturday.

Pratt accounted for Milwaukee's second run with a solo homer in the second inning, laced a run-scoring single in the fourth and hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth. The rookie finished with his second career three-hit performance and his second career long ball. Both of Pratt's home runs have come since returning from the All-Star break, and he's batting .364 (8-for-22) with four RBI and two thefts across seven contests during that span.

  • J.P. Crawford SS | SEA

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Knocks in lone run

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI in Saturday's 7-1 loss to the Rangers.

Crawford missed four games due to wrist soreness before returning to action Saturday. He was the only Mariner to log multiple hits in this loss and also plated the team's lone run with an RBI double to drive in Luke Raley in the fifth inning. Crawford has hit .250 (12-for-48) in July and .220 on the season, adding a .699 OPS, 10 home runs, 29 RBI, 38 runs scored, 11 doubles and one stolen base through 83 contests this year.

  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Homers in win

Henderson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 win over Atlanta.

Henderson put the Orioles up two with a solo shot in the fifth inning, surpassing his homer total from 2025. The shortstop has now hit safely in five of his past six games, tallying five extra-base hits, two RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base during that stretch. On the season, he's slashing .223/.294/.407 with 18 long balls, 45 RBI, 61 runs scored and eight steals across 476 plate appearances.

  • C.J. Abrams SS | WAS

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Powers Nats to win

Abrams went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

The star shortstop drove in two with a two-bagger in the third inning before wrapping up the scoring for the Nationals with a solo shot off Mitch Bratt in the fifth. Abrams has gone yard five times in the last six games, and on the year he's up to 25 homers and 17 steals, one of just two players in the majors this season to have already reached the 25-15 plateau -- with the other being his teammate James Wood (28 HR, 15 SB).

  • J.P. Crawford SS | SEA

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Back in lineup Saturday

Crawford (wrist) is starting at third base and batting eighth against the Rangers on Saturday.

Crawford has been sidelined by a sore left wrist for each of the Mariners' last four games, but the veteran infielder has been cleared to return for Saturday's contest. He is slashing .215/.338/.352 with one steal, 10 homers and 28 RBI across 349 plate appearances this season.

  • Ezequiel Duran SS | TEX

Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Filling in at hot corner

Duran started at third base and went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over Seattle.

Duran made a second consecutive start at third base, while Josh Jung tends to a sore calf. The injury was not considered serious when Jung left Tuesday's game, but the Rangers held him out of Wednesday's game, figuring he'd be ready to go after Thursday's off day. He tested the injury Friday, per Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com, and was unable to go full speed. Wilson added the Rangers will probably need to make a decision about placing Jung on the injured list Saturday. However it plays out, Duran is expected to fill in at third base for as long as needed. He's hit safely in four straight games.

  • Brady Ebel SS | MIL

Brewers' Brady Ebel: Electric at Single-A

Ebel went 24-for-75 (.320) with four home runs, five doubles, 14 RBI, seven stolen bases and a 22:15 BB:K over his last 21 games with Single-A Wilson.

Ebel hit just .180 and posted a .588 OPS over his first 32 games of the season, but he started to heat up in mid-May, and thanks to his recent hot stretch he now owns a .252 batting average and .811 OPS on the season. The Brewers selected the 19-year-old in the first round in 2025, and he is showing why.

  • Orlando Arcia SS | MIN

Orlando Arcia: Cut loose by Minnesota

The Twins released Arcia on Friday.

Minnesota parted ways with Arcia after Triple-A St. Paul reinstated shortstop prospect Kaelen Culpepper (hand) from the 7-day injured list in a corresponding move. Arcia was outrighted to Triple-A on June 18 after he had produced a .271/.300/.354 slash line with one home run, two RBI and six runs in 19 games with Minnesota.
