Springs (3-0) earned the win over Texas on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 6.1 innings.

Springs gave up a run in the first inning but shut down the Rangers after that, allowing just one hit (a single) and one walk along with zero runs following that initial frame. The lefty recorded his third straight quality start, all of which have resulted in victories. Springs has been one of MLB's best hurlers in the early portion of the season, posting a 1.46 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 20:8 K:BB over 24.2 frames though his first four starts. He's shown some flashes of excellence in prior campaigns -- especially in 2022, when he put up a 2.46 ERA across 135.1 regular-season innings with the Rays -- so fantasy managers have reason to hope that Springs can maintain this groove, though he's unlikely to be quite this good for the remainder of the season.

Detmers (1-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Yankees, allowing one run on four hits and no walks with nine strikeouts across seven innings.

After getting hit hard in his previous start against Atlanta, Detmers went a season-high seven innings, and it was his second start of the season with nine strikeouts and zero walks after he accomplished the feat in just 4.2 innings versus Houston on March 28. Detmers has always had intriguing stuff, but putting it together consistently has been the issue for the 26-year-old. Now getting a chance in the rotation again this season, Detmers owns a 3.57 ERA and 26:6 K:BB across 22.2 innings. Four of his strikeouts came on his changeup, which has been his most improved pitch in 2026 to go along with a mid-90s fastball and plus slider. Detmers is in line to make his next start Sunday at home against the Padres.

Varsho went 2-for-5 with a solo home run during the Blue Jays' 9-7 extra-inning win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

Varsho cut the Blue Jays' deficit to 3-2 after belting a solo homer off Jacob Misiorowski in the sixth inning. It was Varsho's third long ball of the season, which have all come over his last four outings. He has reached base safely in 10 straight games since April 3, and over that span he has gone 12-for-39 (.308) with one steal and six RBI.

Woo (0-2) took the loss against San Diego on Tuesday, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out three batters over seven innings.

Woo gave up three runs in the third inning but was scoreless during his other six frames. However, Seattle's offense managed just one run of support, resulting in Woo taking his second straight loss. The right-hander is still looking for his first win despite pitching to a 2.16 ERA over 25 innings across his first four starts. Woo will look for a better result -- and more run support -- in his next start, which lines up to be a home matchup versus the Rangers.

Cantillo did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings.

After opening the game with a strikeout, Cantillo gave up a solo homer to Ivan Herrera and JJ Wetherholt also took him deep in the third, but the left-hander settled in nicely from there. He finished his outing with three scoreless frames and gave Cleveland his first quality start of the season. Cantillo has quietly been one of the more consistent starters early this season, allowing two or fewer runs in all four of his outings while piling up 24 strikeouts across 20.2 innings. The 26-year-old will look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start at home against a dangerous Baltimore lineup that ranks near the top of the league in several offensive categories.

Varland (1-1) earned the win against the Brewers on Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on two hits while striking out two across 1.1 innings.

Jeff Hoffman blew his save chance after giving up two runs in the ninth, and after loading the bases, Blue Jays manager John Schneider opted to turn things over to Varland, who promptly struck out Joey Ortiz in three pitches. Varland was brought back out for the 10th to protect the Jays' three-run lead, and he ended the game by punching out Gary Sanchez. Varland has yet to give up an earned run through 10.1 innings this season and is building off a strong 2025 campaign in which he posted a 2.97 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, 23 holds and a 75:22 K:BB across 72.2 innings. The 28-year-old right-hander is clearly trusted to handle high-leverage situations, which makes him a candidate to see save opportunities if Hoffman is unable to snap out of his slow start to the season.

Gausman did not factor into Tuesday's extra-inning win against the Brewers. He allowed three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five across five innings.

All of the runs Gausman gave up came on a three-run homer from Jake Bauers in the third frame. However, the Blue Jays generated enough offense for Gausman to avoid the loss, with the veteran right-hander finishing his night with 15 whiffs while tallying 62 strikes on 97 pitches (63.9 percent). He is winless through four starts but has not yielded more than three earned runs in any of his outings this season, and his 31 strikeouts (across 22.1 innings) are tied with Jose Soriano for most in the American League this season. Gausman is slated to pitch this weekend on the road against the Diamondbacks.

Lee went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Red Sox.

Lee continued his recent power surge, leading off the fourth inning with a solo homer off Sonny Gray -- his third long ball of the season. After a slow start to the year, the young infielder has caught fire, homering three times over his last five games. During that stretch, Lee has gone 6-for-19 with six RBI and three runs scored, showing signs that he may be settling into a groove at the plate.

Buxton went 4-for-5 with two home runs and four runs scored in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Red Sox.

Buxton stayed hot at the plate, launching two homers that both traveled over 400 feet as part of a huge four-hit performance. His first came off Sonny Gray in the third inning on the first pitch of the frame, and he added another solo shot in the sixth. It was the 18th multi-homer game of Buxton's career and came one day after he hit his first long ball of the season. The center fielder now appears to be finding his power stroke, slashing .246/.306/.462 with three homers, four RBI and 15 runs scored on the year.

Hoffman blew his save opportunity during the Blue Jays' 9-7 extra-inning win over the Brewers on Tuesday, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out one batter over two-thirds of an inning.

The Blue Jays' bats rallied with three runs at the top of the ninth inning, prompting manager John Schneider to bring out Hoffman to protect a 6-4 lead. However, Hoffman lacked command during Tuesday's outing, recording just 14 strikes on 32 pitches (43.8 percent), and the two runs he yielded tied things up at 6-6. He was pulled after walking Garrett Mitchell to load the bases, but fortunately for Hoffman, he did not take the loss after Louis Varland struck out Joey Ortiz on three pitches. Hoffman has struck out 18 batters across 8.1 innings this season but has blown three of five save opportunities, and his grip on Toronto's closer job might be loosening. If he can't turn things around, then Schneider may turn closing duties over to candidates like Varland, Tyler Rogers and, when he returns from the 15-day injured list, Yimi Garcia (elbow).
