Manager Kurt Suzuki said that Manoah (finger) "came out really good" after facing live hitters Saturday at the Angels' spring training complex in Arizona, MLB.com reports.

Manoah has been cleared to use his full repertoire in his throwing sessions and could receive the green light to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment once he stacks up a few more live BPs. The 28-year-old is working his way back from a right middle finger contusion, which he developed after his fingernail fell off during a March 17 start in the Cactus League. While the Angels have an opening for a fifth starter after Ryan Johnson (infection) struggled in his lone outing this season before landing on the injured list, Manoah will likely need to perform well during his rehab assignment in order to get a look in the big-league rotation once he's activated.

Gray is slashing .370/.472/.704 with two home runs, a 16.7 percent walk rate and a 19.4 percent strikeout rate through eight games for Single-A Charleston.

A 6-foot-4, 220-pound 18-year-old whose defensive home was uncertain when the Rays selected him with the 86th overall pick last year, Gray has played first base and designated hitter for the RiverDogs. He is the youngest player to post a 1.176 OPS or higher through his team's first eight games since Juan Soto in 2017, and it's clear Gray has mammoth power potential long term.

Thomas is 3-for-23 (.130 average) with a double, an RBI, two runs scored, a stolen base and a 5:7 BB:K through 12 games this season.

Brought in on a one-year, $5.25 million deal in the offseason, Thomas has started just six of the Royals' first 16 games, with four of those six starts coming against left-handed pitching. Thomas is at least taking his walks, but manager Matt Quatraro seems to prefer an outfield configuration of Isaac Collins, Kyle Isbel and Jac Caglianone from left to right, and he's also mixing in Michael Massey in left field on occasion. For now, it appears Thomas will be stuck in a short-side platoon role for Kansas City.

The Yankees recalled De Los Santos from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, manager Aaron Boone said on the "Talkin' Yanks" podcast by Jomboy Media.

He'll take the roster spot vacated by Jake Bird, who was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Monday's win over the Angels. De Los Santos made 25 appearances out of the Yankees' bullpen last season, collecting a 3.28 ERA and 28:17 K:BB over 35.2 innings.

Duran went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 13-6 loss to the Twins.

The Red Sox were already down 11-1 in the third inning when Duran popped his first home run of the season. He's hit safely and driven in runs in three consecutive games, going 4-for-14 with a double, a home run and six RBI. For the season, Duran is slashing .196/.293/.314 over 13 contests.

Jung went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday's 8-1 win over the Athletics.

Jung extended a hit streak to five games with an eighth-inning double that drove in the Rangers' final two runs. A rocky start to the season has given way to modest production since Jung's return from a two-game absence due to an undisclosed injury. Since rejoining the starting nine, Jung is 5-for-13 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs over the last four contests.

Martinez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 9-3 win over the Cardinals.

Martinez's first-inning homer ignited the Guardians' nine-run uprising Monday. The outfielder is a scorching hot 12-for-26 (.462) with two home runs, two doubles, seven RBI, three steals and five runs over the last six games.

The Angels are expected to recall Aldegheri from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

Aldegheri has been roughed up for 16 runs with an 11:10 K:BB over 13.1 innings in his first three starts with Salt Lake. The lefty is on four days' rest, however, so he will give the Halos some much-needed length in the bullpen.

Crochet said after Monday's loss to the Twins that he's fine physically, and manager Alex Cora also said that Crochet is healthy, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Boston's ace endured a career-worst start in Minnesota, allowing a whopping 10 earned runs in just 1.2 innings while inducing a mere three swings and misses on 55 pitches. His velocity was down 1.2 mph, but Crochet brushed off concerns about his velocity after the game, saying, "I don't think that's anything to fret over." Perhaps he was tipping pitches. Regardless, the No. 3 starter off the board during draft season is seemingly still healthy, and with that, Crochet remains in line to pitch Sunday at home against the Tigers.

Grisham went 2-for-3 with two home runs and five RBI in Monday's 11-10 win over the Angels.

Grisham completely changed the game after entering as a pinch hitter in the fifth inning, delivering a massive spark off the bench. His first swing of the night resulted in a three-run homer off Shaun Anderson that broke a tie and swung momentum in New York's favor. Later, with the Yankees down two in the ninth, Grisham came through again with a clutch game-tying two-run shot that kept the comeback alive and ultimately set the stage for the walk-off win. The homers were the 29-year-old's first two of the season and accounted for all five of his RBI on the night. Even with Monday's breakout, Grisham is still slashing just .167/.344/.354 with nine RBI through 61 plate appearances.
