Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and a hit-by-pitch in Friday's 9-6 win over the Astros.

Arozarena got plunked at an opportune time, as it drove in the Mariners' second run. He then put them ahead 5-3 in the fifth inning with his first homer of the season. Despite the lack of power so far, Arozarena has been one of the team's few reliable hitters, batting .271 with an .803 OPS, six RBI, 10 runs scored, three stolen bases and an 8:11 BB:K through 14 contests. He remains in the No. 5 spot in the order regularly, but the cold bats higher in the lineup could afford him a chance to move up if things don't change.

Munoz walked two and struck out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Friday's 9-6 win over the Astros.

Munoz hadn't gotten a save chance before Friday, mostly due to the Mariners' underwhelming performance early in the season. He was a little shaky, throwing just 12 of 25 pitches for strikes, but he got the job done. Munoz has allowed three runs (two earned) over five innings this season, scattering three hits and two walks while racking up eight strikeouts. If the Mariners get on track, the save chances should follow for the 27-year-old, who converted 38 of his 45 save opportunities in the 2025 regular season while adding a dominant 1.73 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 62.1 innings.

Hancock (2-1) allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings to earn the win Friday over the Astros.

The Mariners had a 3-0 lead after one inning, but Hancock gave it all back in the second on Christian Vazquez's three-run double. After that, Hancock settled in and got enough support to come away with his second win in three starts this season. The right-hander threw 56 of 88 pitches for strikes in this outing. While he missed out on a third straight quality start, he's still at a 2.04 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB across 17.2 innings to begin the season. Hancock is tentatively lined up for a road start in San Diego in his next outing, and he should remain in the rotation at least until Bryce Miller (oblique) can debut.

Early didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts across 4.1 innings.

Early allowed the first three batters to reach in the bottom of the second inning but was able to escape with just one run allowed on a Victor Scott sacrifice fly. Early battled command issues most of the night but was able to work around it and got into the fifth inning before exiting with a 2-1 lead. Zack Kelly came on in relief and allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base, and St. Louis took a 3-2 lead into the sixth inning. Through three starts, Early owns a 2.63 ERA and 15:8 K:BB across 13.2 innings. He lines up to face the Twins on the road Wednesday.

Jax picked up a hold Friday against the Yankees. striking out one in a clean sixth inning.

The hold was the first of the year for Jax, who appears to have fallen down the pecking order in the Tampa Bay bullpen. The right-hander had opened the season as the favorite for saves for the Rays, but he's coughed up eight runs (five earned) and blown his two save chances through his first five innings. Bryan Baker has successfully converted the club's past two save opportunities, and Jax could drop even further down the hierarchy once Edwin Uceta (shoulder) is ready to make his season debut.

Langford was removed from Friday's game against the Dodgers due to right quad tightness, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Langford went 1-for-3 with a solo home run before exiting the game in the sixth inning. Sam Haggerty would be next in line to start in left field if Langford has to miss time, though it's still unclear if that will be necessary.

Martinez went 2-for-4 with a two-run single and a run scored during Cleveland's 11-5 loss to Atlanta on Friday.

Martinez helped cut the Guardians' deficit to four runs thanks to his single in the eighth inning that brought Juan Brito and Rhys Hoskins home. Martinez went 3-for-21 (.143) through his first nine games of the regular season, but he has logged at least two hits in each of his last three starts and has gone 8-for-12 (.667) with one home run, six RBI and two runs scored over that span.

Martin (2-1) took the loss Friday against the Royals, allowing two runs seven hits and no walks with three strikeouts across seven innings.

Martin was terrific again Friday, but Kris Bubic was better, as Bubic fanned a career-high 11 batters across seven shutout innings. Martin's blemishes were an RBI double allowed to Bobby Witt in the fourth and a solo shot given up to Carter Jensen in the seventh. Martin has now posted back-to-back strong outings after he went six shutout frames in a win over the Blue Jays last weekend. Through three starts, Martin owns a 2.50 ERA and 15:4 K:BB across 18 innings. He's tentatively in line to face the Rays at home Thursday.

Jensen went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-0 win over the White Sox.

Jensen struck out and fouled out in his first two plate appearances but got to see Davis Martin for a third time in the seventh and took him deep on a first-pitch cutter. Jensen has struggled with strikeouts this season, but he's slugged four home runs with seven RBI, six runs scored and three walks across 39 plate appearances.

Cecconi (0-2) took the loss against Atlanta on Friday, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out three across 5.1 innings.

Cecconi held Atlanta to one run through five innings and was brought out for the sixth, but that's where things fell apart for the 26-year-old right-hander. He gave up hits to each of the first four batters he faced in the frame, including a solo homer and a two-run long shot to Ronald Acuna and Matt Olson, respectively. Cecconi was subsequently lifted, but he did not get enough run support from his teammates to avoid the loss. He has yielded at least four earned runs in two of his first three starts of the season and has a 5.74 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 15.2 innings to open the 2026 campaign. Cecconi is slated to start next week at home against the Cardinals, when he'll look to capture his first victory of the season.
