De Los Santos was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Monday's 10-5 win over the Nationals.

De Los Santos allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three over 2.2 innings in Monday's contest, so the Yankees will send him down in favor of a fresh arm. Fernando Cruz (oblique) is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list Tuesday in a corresponding move.

Miller (3-5) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings to earn the win over the Padres on Monday.

Miller had a terrible second inning, allowing solo shots to Gavin Sheets and Jake Cronenworth and a two-run home run to Fernando Tatis. Other than that, Miller turned in a passable start, though he's still shaking off the rust after missing more than two months due to elbow inflammation. He's allowed eight runs over his last 10 innings while posting an 8:3 K:BB in that span. Overall, he has a 5.98 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 47:26 K:BB through 58.2 innings across 12 starts this season. Miller is projected for a road start in Cleveland this weekend.

Diaz went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Monday's 9-0 win over Cleveland.

Diaz smashed his 22nd homer of the year, tying the career high he set during the 2023 campaign. The infielder doesn't offer much in the way of speed -- he has three stolen bases in 2025 -- but he's been an excellent four-category fantasy contributor since the start of June. Diaz is hitting .312 with 14 big flies, 40 RBI and 39 runs scored over his last 269 at-bats.

Caminero went 4-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI, two additional runs scored and one stolen base in Monday's 9-0 win over Cleveland.

Caminero pushed his hitting streak up to five games, and he now has four homers over his past four outings. The four-hit game was Caminero's third of the year, and Monday marked his fourth multi-homer effort of the campaign as well. The slugging third baseman is on a tear in August, batting .301 with 12 round-trippers, two doubles, 23 RBI and two steals over his last 83 at-bats.

Cowser went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 4-3 loss to Boston.

Cowser extended his hitting streak to six games and clubbed his 12th homer of the year. The outfielder has been pretty productive in the month of August, batting .241 with three doubles, three big flies, nine RBI and one stolen base over his last 54 at-bats. The three-hit game Monday was also Cowser's third of the campaign.

Chapman notched the save in Monday's 4-3 win over Baltimore, tossing a clean ninth inning with no strikeouts.

The All-Star southpaw's spectacular campaign continues, as he's now rattled off 13 consecutive scoreless appearances. Chapman is putting together arguably the best season of his outstanding career, submitting a 1.06 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 71:14 K:BB over 51 innings. He's also successfully converted 25 of his 27 save chances as Boston's closer.

Duran went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Monday's 4-3 win over Baltimore.

The homer was Duran's first since Aug. 4 versus the Royals and his 13th of the season. The month of August has been a quiet one for the 28-year-old outfielder, who posted a potent 1.093 OPS through 23 games in July. Over his last 74 at-bats, Duran is hitting just .216 with five doubles, 13 RBI, 11 runs scored and three stolen bases.

Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a homer, a steal, a walk and two additional runs scored in Monday's 10-4 rout of the Twins.

The Toronto second baseman tallied a homer and a steal in the same game for the seventh time in his six-year career. Gimenez stretched his team's lead to 5-0 with a 422-foot solo shot off Minnesota starter Joe Ryan in the second. The 26-year-old entered this contest mired in a cold spell, slashing a paltry .188/.297/.188 in 37 plate appearances since returning from an ankle injury Aug. 12. Perhaps this performance will get Gimenez going, as his elite glove continues to keep him in the starting lineup.

Scherzer (5-2) earned the win Monday against Minnesota, allowing four runs on four hits and one walk over six innings with five strikeouts.

The grizzled veteran snapped a streak of five consecutive quality starts but managed to secure his 221st career victory. Outside a pair of homers conceded to Matt Wallner, Scherzer was in control of this game, allowing just three additional baserunners and generating 13 whiffs out of 97 total pitches. The 41-year-old has rounded into a dependable fantasy option once again this season, pitching to a 3.82 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 61:16 K:BB across 66 total frames. Scherzer is tentatively scheduled to make his next appearance at Cincinnati early next week.

Ryan (12-7) took the loss Monday against the Blue Jays, conceding six runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings with seven strikeouts.

The 29-year-old was tagged for six runs for the second time this season, with the previous occurrence happening April 20 at Atlanta. Ryan managed to generate only nine whiffs out of his 93 total pitches, as he coughed up multiple long balls for the third time this season in 25 total starts. After allowing a two-run homer to Alejandro Kirk to cap a four-run first inning, Ryan then gave up a solo shot to Andres Gimenez in the second. The Minnesota right-hander will carry a 3.04 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 148 total frames into his next matchup, which currently lines up to come against San Diego at home this weekend.
