Wallner went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday's 10-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

The Minnesota slugger notched his second career multi-homer game, with his first coming over two years ago July 26, 2023. Wallner popped a 419-foot solo shot off Toronto starter Max Scherzer in the fourth before returning in the sixth to slug a 423-foot, two-run homer, again off Scherzer. The 27-year-old has found his power swing in August, producing six long balls, 11 runs scored and 10 RBI with a .232 (13-for-56) batting average. In 311 total plate appearances, Wallner is now slashing .214/.322/.500 with 19 homers, 38 runs scored and 32 RBI this season.

Rice went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, two walks and an additional run scored in Monday's 10-5 win versus Washington.

The New York slugger garnered the start at catcher and pushed his team's lead to 2-0 with a titanic 435-foot solo shot off Nationals starter Brad Lord in the third. Rice has entered the conversation as one of the best fantasy backstops, as he's batted .290 (20-for-69) with five homers, 13 RBI, eight runs scored and a 12:15 BB:K in 21 games this month. Across 423 total plate appearances, the Dartmouth product is now slashing .241/.339/.488 with 57 runs scored and 48 RBI.

Bibee (9-10) took the loss Monday against the Rays, allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out three.

Bibee hasn't been very reliable lately, as it's now been six consecutive outings and nine of his last 10 without a quality start. Since the beginning of July, the right-hander owns a dismal 6.20 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 50:21 K:BB over 53.2 innings. Bibee will be aiming to steady the ship in his next scheduled appearance against the Mariners, who have a lackluster .683 OPS versus right-handed pitching since the All-Star break.

Dominguez went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Monday's 10-5 victory over Washington.

The New York outfielder plated his team's final three runs with a 357-foot round-tripper against Nationals reliever Cole Henry in the seventh. The long ball broke a homerless stretch dating back to July 23 for Dominguez, who batted .266 (17-for-64) with one extra-base hit in 22 games over that span. The 22-year-old has slipped into a part-time role as the Yankees jockey for a playoff spot, so he will have to produce performances like this one in order to garner additional playing time.

Seymour (2-0) earned the win Monday against the Guardians, allowing one hit and one walk in five shutout innings. He struck out eight.

It was a standout performance from the rookie southpaw, who fanned a season-high eight and poured in 49 of his season-high 67 pitches for strikes in his first career major-league start. It's unclear if Seymour will remain in the rotation, but this showing certainly bodes well for his chances of doing so. Seymour may not be quite ready to handle a typical starter's workload if he takes his next scheduled turn this weekend against the Nationals, though he now owns a strong 3.18 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 34:9 K:BB over 28.1 big-league frames.

Schlittler (2-2) tossed six scoreless frames while allowing four hits and three walks with eight strikeouts to earn the win Monday against Washington.

The rookie right-hander dazzled in this 96-pitch appearance, scattering four singles to collect his second quality start. Schlittler posted eight Ks for the second consecutive start, as he generated a solid 13 whiffs. Since the All-Star break, the 24-year-old has been a dependable fantasy pitcher, producing a 2.43 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 39:17 K:BB across 37 innings. Schlittler is currently scheduled to make his next start in the Yankees' upcoming road series against the White Sox this weekend.

Sugano (10-6) took the loss Monday against Boston, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out six.

Although Sugano recorded his most punchouts since July 27 against the Rockies, the four runs given up were his most since July 2 in Texas. The Japanese right-hander has been shaky at times since the beginning of June, turning in a 4.79 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 56:24 K:BB across his last 73.1 frames (14 starts). Sugano's lack of strikeout upside should continue to limit his fantasy value to close out the year, though he'll hang onto streaming appeal this weekend at pitcher-friendly Oracle Park against the Giants .

Mateo (hamstring) appears on track to be activated from the 60-day injured list Sept. 1, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

The Orioles' active roster will expand from 26 to 28 men Sept. 1, which should make it easier for the club to facilitate Mateo's reinstatement. Mateo, who has resided on the IL since early June due to an inflamed left elbow and then a strained left hamstring, has slashed .375/.400/.500 with one home run and two stolen bases through the first seven games of his rehab assignment at Triple-A Norfolk. Mateo projects to fill a utility role for Baltimore once he's activated.

Garcia struck out six and allowed six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks across 4.1 innings in a rehab start Tuesday with Double-A Corpus Christi.

Through his first seven rehab starts across stops with four different affiliates, Garcia accrued a 2.29 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 27:4 K:BB in 19.2 innings, but he may have taken a step back Tuesday in his bid for a return from the 60-day injured list. Though Garcia was able to get stretched out to 84 pitches, he lacked command while giving up three extra-base hits -- including two home runs -- and generating just three groundouts. On Saturday, manager Joe Espada told MLB.com that the Astros were still deciding on Garcia's next steps, but since Houston isn't listing him among its starters for its three-game series with Colorado to begin the week, the right-hander is presumably headed for another rehab outing.

Stephen (shoulder) struck out two and gave up two hits and no walks over three scoreless innings Sunday for Double-A Akron after being activated from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Making his organizational debut for the Guardians after being acquired July 31, Stephen matched up Sunday against his old teammates at Double-A New Hampshire, with whom he had been pitching before being shelved with a shoulder impingement July 24 and then getting dealt a week later. Since Stephen didn't go out on a rehab assignment beforehand, his pitch count was managed carefully Sunday, though he should have the opportunity to work deeper into his next start. Over stops at three different levels in 2025, Stephen owns a 2.00 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 101:18 K:BB in 94.2 innings.
