Severino resumed playing catch Aug. 12, but the Athletics haven't provided any further updates regarding where he stands in his recovery from a left oblique strain, MLB.com reports.

Severino was placed on the shelf Aug. 9 due to the injury, but he didn't face a prolonged no-throw period before he began playing catch. That said, the Athletics haven't indicated that Severino has resumed throwing off a mound at this point, making it difficult to project when he might be ready to return from the 15-day injured list. Luis Morales settled into Severino's spot in the rotation earlier this month and will make his fourth consecutive start Wednesday versus Detroit.

Raleigh went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Sunday's 11-4 win over the Athletics.

Raleigh went deep in the first and second innings, giving him 49 homers on the year. That's the most in a single season by a catcher, and impressively, he still has more than a month left to add to his total. Raleigh has smacked seven homers over his last 21 games, and he's still leading the majors in long balls. The 28-year-old has added a .247/.353/.593 slash line with 106 RBI, 85 runs scored, 14 stolen bases and 19 doubles through 128 contests.

Gilbert (4-5) allowed one run on three hits and a walk while striking out 13 over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Athletics.

Gilbert gave up a solo home run to Jacob Wilson in the second inning, but that was the extent of the damage. The 13 strikeouts also set a single-game career high for Gilbert, who continues to fan batters at an impressive rate this season. The right-hander has a 3.69 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 138:24 K:BB through 97.2 innings across 19 starts. He's posted a 12.7 K/9, though time missed due to a flexor strain in the first half means he hasn't pitched enough to rank among qualified pitchers. Gilbert's next start is projected to be on the road in Cleveland.

Davis (undisclosed) has gone 3-for-14 with two home runs and three RBI in four games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Wednesday.

Davis had been sidelined for approximately two months due to the undisclosed injury before making his return to the Triple-A lineup. Once a top prospect in the Cubs system who saw his rise to the big leagues get derailed by injuries, the 25-year-old Davis has revived his stock with a strong showing in the Yankees organization this season. Through 27 games between Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Double-A Somerset, Davis has hit .293 with 11 home runs and two stolen bases.

Semien said after Sunday's 5-0 win over the Guardians that he has been diagnosed with a fractured third metatarsal and a Lisfranc sprain in his left foot, which will likely require 4-to-6 weeks of recovery, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Texas placed Semien on the 10-day injured list Saturday with what the team listed as a left foot contusion, but follow-up tests on the foot evidently revealed that he was dealing with structural damage. With five weeks left in the regular season, the 34-year-old now appears at risk of being shut down for 2025, unless the Rangers are able to clinch a playoff spot and make a deep run in October. Ezequiel Duran drew the start at second base Sunday, and he could handle the bulk of the work at that position while Semien is on the shelf.

Morfe was removed from his start Sunday with Single-A Delmarva due to a blister on his right ring finger, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Morfe was limited to just 1.1 innings against Single-A Kannapolis, allowing a walk while blanking the opponent on the scoreboard prior to departing. The 19-year-old was sidelined for more than three months while recovering from a right ring finger sprain before being reinstated July 29, and he has now developed a blister on the same finger.

Bradley (6-7) took the loss Sunday against the White Sox, allowing seven runs on nine hits and a walk across five innings. He struck out one.

Making his first start with the Twins since he was dealt from the Rays at the trade deadline, Bradley struggled from the get-go Sunday. He gave up three runs in the first inning -- after the White Sox led off with four straight singles -- before allowing another four runs in the second. It's been a tough season overall for the 24-year-old Bradley, who's posted a 4.95 ERA with a 1.32 WHIP and 96:45 K:BB across 22 starts (116.1 innings). Despite his struggles Sunday, Bradley could remain in Minnesota's rotation due to Pablo Lopez (shoulder), Simeon Woods Richardson (illness) and David Festa (shoulder) all being on the IL.

Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Lowe has gotten off to an excellent start to his time with the Red Sox by batting 5-for-14 with a home run, two doubles, two walks, five RBI and three runs through his first four games, but the Red Sox aren't yet ready to expose the left-handed-hitting first baseman to lefty pitching. For the second straight matchup against a lefty starter (Carlos Rodon), Lowe will cede first base to the right-handed-hitting Romy Gonzalez.

Gomez did not factor into the decision Sunday against Minnesota, allowing two hits and three walks over 4.2 scoreless innings. He struck out six.

While Gomez was able to hold the Twins scoreless, he was unable to qualify for a win after throwing 89 pitches before departing with two outs in the fifth inning. Still, the 25-year-old Gomez has been solid overall in three starts since shifting into the rotation, allowing four earned runs across 14.2 innings while striking out 16. He's currently lined up to face the Yankees at home his next time out.

Yoshida is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

For the second time in the series, the left-handed-hitting Yoshida will bow out of the lineup while the Yankees send a left-handed pitcher (Carlos Rodon) to the bump. With Yoshida on the bench, Roman Anthony will serve as the Red Sox's designated hitter, and Jhostynxon Garcia will pick up a start in right field.
