Bellinger isn't in Saturday's starting lineup against the Cardinals.

Bellinger is batting just .140 (albeit with two homers and six RBI) through 13 games in August, and he'll get a chance to reset Saturday. In his stead, Jasson Dominguez is playing left field while Ben Rice is getting a start at first base.

Stanton isn't in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup versus St. Louis.

Stanton is beginning the day on the bench for a second straight day despite hitting very well of late, as he's posted a 1.103 OPS with eight homers and 20 RBI over 22 contests since the All-Star break. A part-time role may be the necessary norm for him until Aaron Judge is able to return to playing the outfield. Stanton has been getting starts in right field recently, but Jose Caballero will man that position for the second straight game Saturday.

Goldschmidt (knee) isn't in the starting lineup against St. Louis on Saturday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for the third straight game as he deals with a low-grade strain in his right knee. That said, he was able to appear as a defensive replacement at first base late Friday (though he didn't make a plate appearance), so he could be available off the bench again Saturday. Ben Rice is starting at first base in Goldschmidt's stead.

Baez isn't starting against Minnesota on Saturday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Baez will get at least a partial day off his feet after starting each of the Tigers' past three games. The veteran infielder/outfielder has been swinging the bat well of late, going 9-for-23 with three doubles, two RBI and a stolen base over his past seven games. He's been playing mostly center field recently, and that job will go to Wenceel Perez on Saturday.

Sanchez isn't starting against Baltimore on Saturday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Sanchez was out of the lineup the last time Houston faced a lefty starter, and he'll begin on the bench again Saturday with southpaw Cade Povich slated to handle a bulk-relief role for Baltimore. Sanchez has been cold at the plate lately, going 0-for-14 with three strikeouts over his past five games. Chas McCormick is getting a start in left field in Sanchez's stead Saturday.

Pena (illness) isn't in the starting lineup Saturday against Baltimore, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Pena didn't start Friday due to an illness, and he's going to begin on the bench for at least an additional day. It's not clear if the star shortstop is available off the bench. Mauricio Dubon is getting another start at shortstop in Pena's stead.

Manzardo is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Atlanta.

Manzardo has been red-hot while starting each of Cleveland's past seven contests, batting .318 with three home runs and five RBI over that stretch. However, he's beginning Saturday's game on the bench with Atlanta sending lefty Joey Wentz to the mound. With Manzardo not starting, the Guardians have opted to give David Fry a chance to DH.

It will take Hader (shoulder) three more weeks to ramp up after his three-week shutdown, meaning he likely won't pitch again in the regular season, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reported Friday.

Hader is dealing with a left shoulder capsule sprain, and it will take him approximately six weeks to get back to a point where he can pitch for the Astros. That timeline would mean a late-September return, so the expectation is that Hader won't be available until the postseason. Bryan Abreu got the first crack at closing duties and seems to be the frontrunner for saves the rest of the way. Houston has a half-game lead in the division but would likely earn a Wild Card spot if Seattle passes them for the division title.

Larnach is not starting against Detroit on Saturday.

Larnach had been in the starting nine for five of Minnesota's previous six contests, going just 3-for-19 with a home run and one RBI during that span. Prior to that stretch, he was out of the lineup for three games due to left side soreness, but there's no indication that his absence Saturday is related to the issue or any injury. With Larnach on the bench, Luke Keaschall is getting a day off his feet as the Twins' DH.

India is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup versus the White Sox.

India started each of KC's previous three games, going 3-for-10 with a home run and two RBI, but he'll begin on the bench Saturday. In his stead, Adam Frazier is starting at second base while Randal Grichuk is getting a turn at DH.
