Naylor isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against Miami.

Naylor will get a day to regroup Thursday after going just 1-for-13 with two walks and a run scored over his last five contests. Austin Hedges will take his place behind home plate and bat ninth.

Stephenson (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday.

Biceps inflammation has kept Stephenson on the shelf since the end of May, and after two-plus months of rehab, the 32-year-old righty has now been cleared to pitch in a competitive environment. Given the duration of his stay on the injured list, he will likely require several tune-up outings before being cleared to join the Angels' bullpen, but a return to Anaheim before the end of the month remains in play.

Means (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Lake County on Friday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

It will be the hurler's first official game action since he underwent a second Tommy John surgery last June. Means is scheduled to throw three innings for Lake County and will continue to build up his stamina before joining the Guardians' rotation, likely in September.

Wilson (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Wilson was cleared for full baseball activities earlier this week and is now ready to test things out in a game setting. The rookie shortstop has been shelved since late July with a fractured left forearm. Because Wilson has only been sidelined for a few weeks, his rehab assignment should be brief.

Miller (elbow) made his third rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk in 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

Miller threw 76 pitches, 51 for strikes, in what was possibly his final rehab outing before re-entering Seattle's rotation. The right-hander has been on the injured list for over two months due to right elbow inflammation, and his eventual return is likely to push Logan Evans back to the minor leagues. If Miller's next start comes with Mariners, his return would likely be set for Tuesday in a tough spot in Philadelphia against the first-place Phillies.

Bellinger went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Wednesday in a loss to Minnesota.

Bellinger accounted for the Yankees' only run of the game with a solo shot off Joe Ryan in the third inning. The long ball was Bellinger's second in his past three games, though those are the only two hits he has across 11 at-bats in that span. Bellinger is putting together a solid campaign in his first season in the Bronx, slashing .270/.325/.491 with 22 home runs, 69 RBI, 66 runs and 10 stolen bases through 112 contests spanning 477 plate appearances.

Rumfield is slashing .370/.450/.575 with five home runs, an 11.4 percent walk rate and a 12.8 percent strikeout rate in his last 32 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

A 25-year-old lefty-hitting first baseman, Rumfield doesn't have a clear path to playing time in the majors, but he's doing everything he can to make noise in his second season at Triple-A. Rumfield has the hit tool to profile at the bottom of the defensive spectrum, but he may not have the power, as he has a career .443 slugging percentage and has a .189 ISO this season while being an old-for-the-level first baseman.

France will start at first base and bat fifth in Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Before being excluded from the lineup for Wednesday's 4-1 loss, France had started in each of the Blue Jays' previous six contests and went 10-for-22 with five doubles, one walk, five runs and two RBI. Though he's gotten off to a nice start to his tenure with the Blue Jays after being acquired from the Twins on July 31, France could fade into more of a part-time role once the Blue Jays get George Springer (concussion) back from the 7-day injured list.

Lukes is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

After starting and batting leadoff in each of the Blue Jays' last three games, the left-handed-hitting Lukes will head to the bench for the series finale while the Cubs send lefty Matthew Boyd to the bump. Toronto will roll out an outfield of Davis Schneider, Myles Straw and Joey Loperfido from left to right in Thursday's contest.

Varsho is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

The left-handed-hitting Varsho had started in each of Toronto's last five games -- including two matchups with left-handed pitchers -- but he'll head to the bench Thursday while southpaw Matthew Boyd takes the hill for the Cubs in the matinee contest. Myles Straw will replace Varsho in center field and will bat seventh.
