Young was removed from Wednesday's game against the Yankees due to dizziness, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Young went 1-for-4 with a run scored before coming out of the game in the seventh inning. Leo Rivas would likely be next in line to start at second base if Young needs to miss additional time, but he doesn't seem to be dealing with anything that would require an IL stint.

Mateo signed a major-league contract with the Rays on Wednesday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Mateo was cut by Atlanta over the weekend after clearing waivers, but he'll now receive a new opportunity to carve out a role for himself with the Rays. The 31-year-old has slashed .240/.285/.380 across 137 plate appearances this season and figures to bolster the team's infield depth while Ben Williamson (hamstring) is on the injured list.

Hader turned in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Giants.

Hader has been nearly untouchable of late, turning in nine straight hitless appearances (9.2 innings), issuing just two walks while striking out nine in that span. Hader improved to a perfect 17-for-17 in save chances this season while lowering his ERA to 0.96 with a 0.71 WHIP and 38:10 K:BB across 28 innings.

Langford isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Langford will grab a seat on the bench after going 0-for-6 with three walks and three strikeouts through the first two games of the series. While he rests, Jarred Kelenic will start in left field and bat fifth.

Double-A Frisco reinstated Walcott (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Wednesday, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Walcott landed on the IL on Aug. 2 after he was struck in the head by a pickoff throw a day earlier, but he's since passed all concussion tests and has received the green light to return to action at Frisco. The 20-year-old prospect has performed well since making his season debut at Frisco on July 17, slashing .308/.357/.577 with three home runs and three steals through 56 plate appearances. He's thus far been limited to serving as a designated hitter after undergoing internal brace surgery on his throwing elbow back in February.

Leiter (ankle) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Thursday will mark Leiter's first taste of game action since he underwent surgery on his right ankle in June. He's expected to make multiple starts in the minors before returning from the injured list, and the plan is for him to throw about 40-to-45 pitches during his first outing.

Lukes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Lukes had started in the Blue Jays' last two games, but the left-handed-hitting outfielder will get a break Wednesday while the Red Sox send southpaw Ranger Suarez to the bump. Brett Bateman will cover right field in place of Lukes.

Wong is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Wong is on the bench for the second straight game and is expected to see his playing time take a major hit after the Red Sox activated their big trade-deadline pickup, Adley Rutschman, off the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Rutschman should handle a near-everyday role behind the plate now that he's healthy again, likely leaving Wong in line for little more than a start or two per week.

Seigler is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Seigler is back on the bench for a second straight day while the Red Sox go with Nick Sogard at second base. Prior to Tuesday, Seigler had covered the keystone in four of the Red Sox's previous five contests, but his uptick in playing time appears to have been mostly the result of Willson Contreras and Masataka Yoshida missing out on two starts apiece due to illness.

Heineman isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Heineman will retreat to the bench after going 0-for-3 at the plate across the first two games of the series. Moises Ballesteros will fill in as the Angels' backstop, moving Zach Neto into the DH spot while Oswald Peraza starts at short.
