Raley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians due to elbow discomfort, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Though he played the full nine innings while going 0-for-3 with a walk over four plate appearances Saturday, Raley reportedly tweaked his elbow on a swing at some point during the contest. The Mariners will give him at least one game off to rest, clearing the way for Victor Robles to pick up a start in right field.

The Rangers placed Langford on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left hamstring strain.

Langford will hit the shelf for the second time this season, after a forearm strain had previously kept him out for about six weeks earlier in the campaign. He'll be eligible to return from the IL on July 7, but unless the hamstring strain is deemed to be mild, the Rangers could be inclined to hold him out through the All-Star break. Texas activated Evan Carter (oblique) from the 10-day IL in a corresponding move, and he should step in as the primary replacement in center field for Langford.

The Rangers reinstated Carter (oblique) from the 10-day injured list. He'll start in center field and bat seventh Sunday against the Blue Jays.

The 23-year-old landed on the shelf June 13 due to the oblique injury, but he's ready to rejoin the Rangers after going 2-for-2 with a walk and a home run during his lone rehab appearance with Double-A Frisco. Carter is replacing Wyatt Langford (hamstring) on the active roster.

Yoshida went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Yankees.

Yoshida jump-started Boston's offense with a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning. It was just the second homer of the season for Yoshida, who has been deployed at leadoff four times within the last two weeks. Overall, the outfielder's role hasn't changed much since the start of the season, even with the continued absence of Roman Anthony (finger). He's been limited mostly to designated hitter and pinch-hitting opportunities.

The Orioles optioned Jackson to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

The 26-year-old opened the campaign as a lineup regular while Jackson Holliday was on the injured list, and Jackson took advantage of those early opportunities with six homers and an .800 OPS in his first 28 games. He's received more sporadic playing time of late and has a .244/.261/.333 slash line in his past 19 contests, so the Orioles will send him down to make room on the roster for the activation of Dylan Beavers (oblique).

Springer (personal) will serve as the Blue Jays' designated hitter and hit leadoff in Sunday's game against the Rangers.

The Blue Jays had been preparing for the possibility of Springer going on the paternity list this weekend, but he ended up sticking around after sitting out Saturday's 7-4 loss. Springer could still go on paternity leave at some point during the upcoming week, making him a risky fantasy option during that period.

Whitlock earned a hold Saturday, retiring all three batters faced on seven pitches (five strikes) in the eighth inning of a 4-1 win over the Yankees.

Whitlock was the bridge to Aroldis Chapman, recording his third hold in his last four appearances and 12th of the season. Since returning from the injured list June 9, Whitlock has allowed one run on six hits with zero walks while striking out five over seven innings. If the Red Sox eventually trade Chapman, which is looking increasingly likely, Whitlock could be the favorite to take over as Boston's closer.

The Orioles reinstated Beavers (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

The 24-year-old has been on the shelf for the past six weeks due to an oblique strain, but he's ready to rejoin the active roster after going 1-for-20 with five walks during a six-game rehab assignment. Beavers, who posted a .243/.331/.369 slash line with two homers and three steals in his first 33 games of 2026, should reclaim a starting job in the outfield now that he's healthy.

The Orioles reinstated Rutschman (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Sunday. He'll start at catcher and bat third in the Orioles' series finale with the Nationals.

Rutschman missed about a week and a half due to a concussion, which he sustained June 18 game in Seattle. While he's expected to immediately step in as the team's No. 1 backstop, the Orioles could look to use him a bit more at designated hitter in the short term until the concussion is further in the rear-view mirror. Baltimore will keep Chadwick Tromp around on the 26-man active roster for the time being as a third option at catcher behind Rutschman and Samuel Basallo.

The Guardians reinstated DeLauter (rib) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Cleveland optioned outfielder Petey Halpin to Triple-A Columbus to open up a spot on the active roster for DeLauter, who experiencing no setbacks in his recovery from a right rib cage fracture while taking on-field batting practice Saturday. Since he missed only two weeks with the injury, DeLauter should be ready to handle an everyday role right away while bouncing between right field and designated hitter.
