The Rockies optioned Bellozo to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.

After starter Kyle Freeland (shoulder) was scratched shortly before opening pitch, the Rockies ended up going with a bullpen game during Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Padres. Bellozo took on the brunt of the work for Colorado, covering 4.1 innings and yielding five earned runs on eight hits and four walks. Since Bellozo wasn't going to be available for the next few days after the 90-pitch appearance, the Rockies will send him back to Triple-A and will presumably call up another pitcher to replace him in the bullpen.

Atlanta optioned Dodd to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

Dodd spun three scoreless frames to pick up a save in Sunday's win over the Guardians, but Atlanta will send him down and replace him with a fresh bullpen arm. The lefty should get another chance with the big club later this summer.

Atlanta recalled Munoz from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

Munoz has tossed 7.2 scoreless innings in his first five appearances with Gwinnett this season, collecting a 7:3 K:BB in the process. He struggled in a cup of coffee with Atlanta last season and will be utilized as a low-leverage bullpen arm.

De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and an additional run scored in Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Angels.

The switch-hitting De La Cruz popped a three-run homer in the ninth inning batting right-handed off lefty Drew Pomeranz. Four of his five home runs this season have come from the right side in only 22 at-bats. De La Cruz has historically been more productive from the left side (.844 OPS) than the right (.634).

Trevino (back) began light throwing Saturday, MLB.com reports.

After receiving an epidural injection Friday, Trevino's throwing session was the first bit of baseball activity since landing on the 10-day injured list. If he responds well, the Reds are hoping Trevino can take batting practice Tuesday.

Del Castillo went 1-for-1 with an RBI in Sunday's 4-3 win over Philadelphia.

Del Castillo entered as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and delivered the game-winning run. He normally serves as a designated hitter, but Corbin Carroll has operated as the DH the last two games since returning from a tight hip flexor injury. Del Castillo will share catching duties with James McCann while Gabriel Moreno (back) is unavailable. With just two healthy catchers, Arizona manager Torey Lovullo may not use both Del Castillo and McCann in starting lineups.

Perdomo went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Phillies.

Perdomo, who got on base via a force-out, stole second base and scored the first of two runs in the eighth inning that clinched the comeback victory. The shortstop, who is batting .157 through 16 games, is doing what he can despite the slow start. Over the last five games, during which he's gone 2-for-14, Perdomo has walked six times, stole three bases and scored four runs.

Carroll went 2-for-4 with a walk and a double in Sunday's 4-3 win over Philadelphia.

Carroll served as the designated hitter for the second straight game since a return from a two-game absence due to a hip flexor injury. It's not clear when Carroll will return to right field, where Jorge Barrosa has filled in for him the last four games.

McCann went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Phillies.

McCann knocked in the Diamondbacks' first run with his second-inning double. It was the second straight contest with a run-scoring double for the catcher, who is batting .200 with three doubles and three RBI through eight games played. With Arizona likely to place Gabriel Moreno (back) on the injured list, McCann is in line for regular at-bats.

Bauers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-6 loss to the Nationals.

Bauers has had multiple hits in four of the 14 contests he's appeared in this season, including one Friday against the Nationals. All four of those games featured a home run from the 30-year-old, and Sunday was no different. He was one of three members of the Brewers to take Zack Littell deep, all of the solo variety. With Sunday's performance, Bauers is slashing .239/.300/.522 for the year with 10 RBI in 14 games played.
