Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Del Castillo picked up two starts at catcher and one at designated hitter over the past three games, but he'll hit the bench Wednesday while the White Sox send lefty Anthony Kay to the hill. With Del Castillo sitting, Jose Fernandez will serve as Arizona's DH and James McCann will get the nod behind the dish.

Lowe (knee) is starting at second base and batting second in Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Lowe was held out of Tuesday's lineup while managing left knee discomfort, but the veteran has been given the green light to return for Wednesday's contest. He is slashing .267/.375/.600 with seven home runs, 18 RBI and 12 runs scored over 88 plate appearances this season.

Lee (leg) is starting in right field and batting sixth against the Dodgers on Wednesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Lee was removed from the sixth inning of Tuesday's game due an apparent left leg injury that he sustained on an awkward slide into home plate, but he's back in the starting nine a day later. Lee has six multi-hit games over his last 10 outings, and over that span he has gone 15-for-39 (.385) with one home run, four RBI, three doubles and three runs scored.

Kelly is not in the Cubs' starting lineup against the Phillies on Wednesday.

Kelly will sit for the second time in three days while Miguel Amaya serves behind home plate and bats eighth while doing the catching for Matthew Boyd. Kelly has gone 15-for-46 (.326) with two home runs, seven RBI, nine runs scored and a 9:10 BB:K since April 1.

Andujar is not in the Padres' starting lineup against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Andujar has been productive at the plate to open the season, with the 31-year-old slashing .308/.345/.423 with one steal and two RBI over 55 plate appearances. He'll be on the bench for the start of Wednesday's contest, with Gavin Sheets serving as the designated hitter and Nick Castellanos filling in at first base.

Fermin is not in the Padres' starting lineup against the Rockies on Wednesday.

With Fermin opening Wednesday's game on the bench, Luis Campusano will serve behind home plate and bat eighth while catching pitches from Walker Buehler. Fermin has struggled at the plate this season, slashing .194/.333/.278 with two RBI and nine runs scored over 45 plate appearances.

Marchan will start at catcher and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Marchan will get the call behind the plate for the Phillies' first game following top backstop J.T. Realmuto's (back) placement on the injured list. Though the Phillies called up Garrett Stubbs from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to provide another option behind the plate, the playing time at catcher will likely tilt in Marchan's favor while Realmuto is on the shelf. Marchan has gone just 2-for-31 at the dish this season, but he's made one of those hits count by slugging a two-run home run.

Marsh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

The Phillies included the left-handed-hitting Marsh in the lineup Tuesday against Cubs southpaw Shota Imanaga, but the outfielder will hit the bench Wednesday while Chicago sends another lefty (Matthew Boyd) to the bump. After taking a seat during Tuesday's 7-4 loss, Justin Crawford will re-enter the starting nine in center field as a replacement for Marsh on Wednesday.

Stott is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Stott will take a seat for the second night in a row while the Cubs send another lefty (Matthew Boyd) to the hill. Edmundo Sosa will once again fill in for Stott at second base.

The Cubs optioned Little to Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Little was with the big club for a week and made one appearance, allowing one run over one inning of work. He's clearing out to make space on the roster for Matthew Boyd (biceps), who is back from the injured list to start Wednesday's contest versus the Phillies.
