Marlins manager Clayton McCullough said Monday that Mack is dealing with a stiff neck but should return to the Grapefruit League lineup in a couple days, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

McCullough noted that if it were the regular season, Mack would most likely play through the injury. Mack has appeared in seven games this spring for Miami, going 3-for-18 with one home run at the dish. He's third on the Marlins' catching depth chart and will begin the season at Triple-A Jacksonville, barring an injury to Agustin Ramirez or Liam Hicks.

Pauley (forearm) isn't yet cleared to play defense, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 25-year-old had been used as a DH over the past week, batting .364 (4-for-11) in four games with a double, a triple and a 2:1 BB:K. Once Pauley receives clearance to see game action on defense, he'll resume his battle with Connor Norby for the Marlins' starting job at third base.

The Brewers optioned Peralta to minor-league camp Monday, Sophia Minnaert of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin reports.

Peralta has yielded four runs (three earned) with a 1:1 K:BB over three Cactus League innings. The left-hander was claimed off waivers last fall and will begin the 2026 campaign in the bullpen at Triple-A Nashville.

The Rockies announced Monday that Petit has been diagnosed with a UCL sprain in his right elbow, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The diagnosis is often a precursor to UCL surgery, but Petit will consult with doctors before making a decision. A Rule 5 pick, Petit could be stashed on the 60-day injured list while he recovers, though the Rockies would still have to follow regular Rule 5 roster guidelines once Petit is off the 60-day IL.

Gamel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Rays.

The veteran outfielder has only reached double-digit homers once in his career, when he hit 11 back in 2017 with the Mariners, but Gamel's already launched four in six spring games, with his other hit being a double. He's in camp with Atlanta as a non-roster invitee and is a long shot to win a spot on the 26-man roster, but the season-long suspension for Jurickson Profar does create an opening. The fact that Gamel hits left-handed eliminates him as a potential platoon partner in left field for Mike Yastrzemski, however, and he might need another injury or absence ahead of him for his sudden spring power display to move the needle on his chances.

The Brewers reassigned Made to minor-league camp Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Made was awarded with an invitation to major-league camp after slashing .285/.379/.413 across three levels in the minors last season. The top prospect will turn just 19 in May, so he never had a real chance to make the team. Made should return to Double-A Biloxi to begin the 2026 season.

The Mets optioned Pintaro to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

Pintaro received a cup of coffee with the Mets last June, recording two outs and allowing two earned runs in his lone relief appearance before being optioned back to the minors soon thereafter. He'll retain a spot on the Mets' 40-man roster heading into the 2026 season but may need multiple key relievers to miss time before getting another opportunity in the big leagues. In the meantime, Pintaro will likely serve as a swingman at Syracuse, with whom he posted a 5.22 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 46:29 K:BB over 39.2 innings last season.

The Brewers optioned Quero to minor-league camp Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Quero went 2-for-16 at the dish this spring for the Brewers. With William Contreras and Gary Sanchez slated to handle the top two catching spots with the big club, Quero was always destined to begin the year back at Triple-A Nashville. The defensively-gifted Quero could get an opportunity with the big club is Contreras is injured.

The Mets optioned Morabito to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

New York thought highly enough of Morabito to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft this winter and add him to the 40-man roster, but the 22-year-old may need multiple injuries to hit the Mets outfield in order to get a look in the big leagues in 2026. Morabito will be making his Triple-A debut to begin the upcoming season after he spent the entire 2025 campaign at Double-A Binghamton, where he slashed .273/.348/.385 with six home runs and 48 stolen bases over 491 plate appearances.

Rodriguez started at designated hitter and went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-5 Cactus League win over the Cubs.

Rodriguez drove a solo homer to left field in the sixth inning, bringing the Giants within one run. He later singled and stole second in the seventh. The 23-year-old catcher, who was acquired by San Francisco in a deal with the Yankees in July, is unlikely to make the Opening Day roster but could be a candidate for a call-up at some point during the regular season. Per Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, manager Tony Vitello called him "Mr. Versatile" and added that Rodriguez will get a start at second base soon. While the majority of his time in the minors has been spent behind the plate and at DH, he also has experience playing third base.
