Bauers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

The left-handed-hitting Bauers will take a seat against left-hander Matthew Liberatore, allowing Andrew Vaughn to draw the start at first base. Bauers has taken hold of the strong side of a platoon at first base with Vaughn as the regular season winds down.

Turang is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

The left-handed-hitting Turang will take a seat Sunday against southpaw Matthew Liberatore. The second baseman had been part of the starting nine in each of the Brewers' last 14 games and went 14-for-56 (.250 average) with eight runs scored and seven RBI during that stretch.

Frelick is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

The lefty-hitting Frelick will retreat to the dugout while the Brewers run out a lineup of seven right-handed hitters and two switch hitters to counter southpaw Matthew Liberatore. Isaac Collins, Blake Perkins and Jackson Chourio will fill the outfield from left to right.

Yelich is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Yelich will dodge a same-handed matchup against southpaw Matthew Liberatore on Sunday, clearing a spot in the lineup at designated hitter for Rhys Hoskins. While starting in each of Milwaukee's previous 11 games, Yelich went 12-for-48 (.250 average) with two home runs.

Ramos went 2-for-5 with a run scored in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Ramos hit a leadoff single in the first inning before coming around to score and later added another base hit in the fourth. It was the 26-year-old outfielder's first multi-hit performance since Sept. 5. Over 17 games this month, he's slashing .186/.260/.286 with 11 runs scored, four RBI and two home runs across 77 plate appearances.

Norby is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Norby will give way to Graham Pauley at third base after after starting at the hot corner in the first two games of the series. Since returning from the injured list Monday, Norby has gone 7-for-19 with a solo home run, two doubles and an additional run in four games.

Eldridge went 1-for-3 with three RBI, a double, a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Eldridge hit a three-run double to left field in the first inning before coming around to score, giving the Giants an early 4-0 lead. It was the 20-year-old's first major-league hit after going 0-for-9 in his first three games. Before being called up to the majors, Eldridge slashed .249/.322/.514 with 63 RBI, 31 runs scored, 18 long balls and a stolen base across 286 plate appearances for Triple-A Sacramento.

Freeman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Freeman will head to the bench for the first time since Aug. 29. While starting in each of the Rockies' last 20 games, Freeman hit .259 with zero home runs, one steal, 13 runs and five RBI.

Pham is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Pham will take a seat for the second time in the series. The veteran outfielder has had a tough finish to the season, as he's gone hitless in his last 25 at-bats over his past eight games to bring his average down to .243.

The Brewers placed Woodruff on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right lat strain.

Woodruff's surprise move to the IL comes after he allowed one earned run on two hits while striking out nine across five innings in his most recent start this past Wednesday against the Angels. The severity of Woodruff's injury isn't known, but the diagnosis of a right lat strain typically doesn't portend a brief absence. Woodruff will be eligible for reinstatement Oct. 3, one day before the start of the NLDS. According to Sophia Minnaert of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin, manager Pat Murphy said "it's too early to tell" whether Woodruff will be available for the start of the Brewers' postseason run.
