Miguel Andujar DH | SD
Padres' Miguel Andujar: Held out again Wednesday
Andujar (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.
Andujar was forced to depart Sunday's game versus the Mets after tweaking his hamstring, and he's now missed all three starts in the Padres' series against the Reds. The Padres have a team off day Thursday and could make a decision on a potential IL stint for Andujar before Friday's contest in Baltimore. Will Wagner is filling in at designated hitter Wednesday.

Ivan Herrera DH | STL
Cardinals' Ivan Herrera: Reaches base five times
Herrera went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Mets.
Herrera was hit by a Freddy Peralta pitch in both of his first two trips to the plate before later adding two singles and a double. The 26-year-old's hard-hit rate, barrel rate and average exit velocity are all down year-over-year. However, Herrera boasts a 12 percent walk rate and a 16.5 percent strikeout rate, and he is on pace to score more than 100 runs.

Julian Fernandez RP | WAS
Nationals' Julian Fernandez: Shelved at Triple-A
Triple-A Rochester placed Fernandez on its 7-day injured list May 14 due to an unspecified injury.
The 31-year-old reliever made three appearances for the Nationals back in late April but has otherwise spent the entire season at Rochester, with whom he's turned in a 3.27 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB in 11 innings across 13 appearances. Since he hasn't appeared in a game in over a month, Fernandez could require a rehab assignment in the lower minors before returning to the Triple-A bullpen.

Tyler Phillips RP | MIA
Marlins' Tyler Phillips: Working as starter Thursday
Phillips is slated to start Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks in Miami.
After piggybacking Ryan Gusto for 4.2 innings in relief in his most recent appearance last Friday versus the Rays, Phillips will move back into a starting role for his upcoming turn through the rotation. The right-hander has covered at least three frames in each of his last four appearances (two starts), going 0-1 with a 3.31 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 11:7 K:BB across 16.1 innings during that span.

Chase Petty RP | CIN
Reds' Chase Petty: Rejoins Reds in relief role
The Reds recalled Petty from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Petty will give the bullpen some length after the Reds needed to use six relievers in Tuesday's extra-innings victory over the Padres. The righty has made two starts for Cincinnati this season, yielding seven runs with a 2:3 K:BB over 10.2 innings.
-
Blake Dunn CF | CIN
Reds' Blake Dunn: Receiving afternoon off
Dunn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
The Reds will give Dunn a breather for the day game after a night game, paving the way for Dane Myers to pick up a start in center field. Dunn had started in all 18 of the Reds' games dating back to May 19, slashing .284/.318/.383 with one home run, three stolen bases, nine runs and four RBI during that stretch.

Zach McCambley RP | CIN
Reds' Zach McCambley: Demoted to minors
The Reds optioned McCambley to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
After turning in scoreless showings in his first two major-league appearances, McCambley was touched up for three runs in an inning of work in his last outing Monday in San Diego. His spot on the roster and in the bullpen is being absorbed by Chase Petty.

Edwin Arroyo 2B | CIN
Reds' Edwin Arroyo: Taking seat Wednesday
Arroyo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
Since being called up from Triple-A Louisville on June 1, Arroyo has started in six of the Reds' ensuing nine games but hasn't gotten going at the plate. Spencer Steer will get the nod at second base Wednesday over Arroyo, who has begun his big-league career by going 5-for-22 (.227 average) with no extra-base hits and a 2:9 BB:K. He'll need to raise his production if he hopes to stick around with the big club once Elly De La Cruz (hamstring) is ready to return from the injured list.
-
Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Resting up for day game
Stephenson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
After starting behind the plate each of the last three days, Stephenson will get a breather while the Reds wrap up their series in San Diego with an afternoon game after a night game. P.J. Higgins will step in at catcher, forming a battery with starting pitcher Brady Singer.
