Adames went 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 8-7 win over the Dodgers.

Adames opened the scoring with a solo shot in the second inning and added a two-run triple in the fifth as part of a five-run rally for the Giants. Over 10 games in July, Adames has gone 13-for-36 (.361) with seven extra-base hits and 12 RBI. He's starting to cash in on the potential that the Giants saw when signing him to a seven-year, $182 million contract in December. Overall, the shortstop is at a .225/.312/.382 slash line with 12 homers, 48 RBI, 53 runs scored, four stolen bases, 14 doubles and two triples through 94 contests.

Flexen (5-1) took the loss Friday against the Yankees after giving up three earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out two batters over four innings.

Flexen made his first start of the campaign Friday after spending most of the season working as a multi-inning option out of the bullpen. He kept the Yankees off the scoreboard for two innings, but back-to-back singles to lead off the third followed by an Aaron Judge sacrifice fly and a Cody Bellinger two-run blast gave New York a lead it wouldn't relinquish for the rest of the game. Flexen's ERA still sits at 1.47 on the year despite his rough performance Friday, and he'll likely get another opportunity to start after the All-Star break with Jameson Taillon (calf) set to remain out until August.

Doval allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 8-7 win over the Dodgers.

Doval allowed runners to reach first and second with one out, but he got Will Smith to ground into a double play to end the threat. Doval has allowed at least one baserunner in six of his last seven outings, and this was just the third time he's avoided giving up any runs during that span, having been tagged for nine runs (eight earned) over his last 7.2 innings. Doval hasn't lost out on closing duties yet, but he's on shaky ground if he can't steady his performance. For the season, he's earned 15 saves with a 3.02 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 38:21 K:BB through 41.2 innings.

Webb (9-6) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six over 5.1 innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Webb was having a fine start until the Dodgers four-run rally in the sixth inning, which all ended up on his line. He still got the win, as the Giants had established an 8-2 lead in the fifth inning and managed to stay ahead. This performance ended a stretch of eight straight quality starts for Webb, who had a 2.55 ERA and 59:11 K:BB across 53 innings in that span. For the season, the Giants' ace is at a 2.94 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 139:28 K:BB through 125.2 innings over 20 starts. He'll be at the All-Star festivities in Atlanta next week before presumably getting the ball at some point in the three-game weekend series in Toronto following the Midsummer Classic.

Castellanos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Padres.

Castellanos opened the scoring with a second-inning homer, though the Padres answered with three runs of their own in the bottom of the frame. The veteran outfielder is up to 12 homers on the year, four of which he's hit over his last 13 games. For the season, he's added a .276/.317/.445 slash line, 51 RBI, 42 runs scored, 22 doubles, one triple and three stolen bases across 93 games.

Schwarber went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Padres.

Schwarber's blast was his 30th of the season, and five of those homers have come over just nine games in July. He's added 12 RBI, three doubles, seven runs scored and a stolen base this month. This is Schwarber's seventh year of 30-plus homers, a mark he's reached five seasons in a row. He's positioned well to push for a career high -- he slugged 47 long balls in the 2023 campaign. The designated hitter has added a .254/.385/.560 slash line, 69 RBI, 66 runs scored and nine stolen bases over 94 contests this season.

Suarez (7-3) allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out five over 6.2 innings to take the loss Friday versus the Padres.

Suarez wasn't at his best Friday, but the damage was limited to the second inning. This was the first time since June 7 against the Pirates that Suarez has allowed multiple runs, though it was his sixth straight start allowing one earned run or less. For the season, he's pitched to a 1.94 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 78:22 K:BB across 83.2 innings through 13 starts. Suarez figures to make his next start during the Phillies' first series after the All-Star break, which would line him up for a home matchup against the Angels.

Bogaerts went 3-for-4 with one run scored in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Bogaerts has a trio of three-hit efforts over his last 13 games, batting .383 (18-for-47) in that span. All three hits were singles Friday, and the shortstop has just one extra-base hit, a double, across his last 10 contests. The lack of power remains a concern, but the contact-driven surge has him up to a .264/.338/.368 slash line through 92 games this season.

Tatis went 2-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and one stolen base in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Tatis is up to 20 steals on the year, including five of them over his last 15 games. The outfielder was far less active on the basepaths in 2024, logging just 11 thefts on 14 attempts, so it's a positive that he's returned to a higher volume of steals in 2025. He's logged three multi-hit efforts over the last six games to get his average back up to .266, and Tatis has added an .812 OPS with 16 home runs, 42 RBI and 64 runs scored through 92 contests.

Suarez struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Suarez has pitched three of the last four days and is now on a five-inning scoreless streak that began July 4 versus the Rangers. The closer's heavy workload lately may lead to him not making an appearance Saturday even if a save situation arises, though the rest of the Padres' top high-leverage arms have also pitched on the same days as Suarez this week. Suarez is up to 28 saves in 31 chances while maintaining a 3.54 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 43:12 K:BB through 40.2 innings this season.
