Trevor Megill RP | MIL
Brewers' Trevor Megill: Saddled with loss against Tampa Bay
Megill (0-1) allowed one run on one hit and one walk in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Rays. He struck out one.
Megill was brought on to open the top of the ninth of a 2-2 game and got Junior Caminero to ground out before striking out Ben Williamson. However, Megill walked Jonny DeLuca and then surrendered an RBI double to Nick Fortes. Megill appears to have a solid hold on the closer job for the Brewers after securing his first save of the season Sunday against the White Sox. After pitching back-to-back days, Megill is likely unavailable for Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay.

Kyle Harrison SP | MIL
Brewers' Kyle Harrison: Strikes out eight in 2026 debut
Harrison allowed one run on four hits and one walk across five innings in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Rays. He struck out eight.
Harrison's lone blemish was a leadoff home run surrendered to Yandy Diaz in the top of the first inning. Acquired from the Red Sox over the offseason, Harrison's debut was an encouraging one after he spent much of 2025 at the Triple-A level with the Giants and Red Sox. Harrison has the stuff to be a factor in mixed fantasy leagues, and his next start is scheduled for Sunday in Kansas City.

Jack Brannigan SS | PIT
Pirates' Jack Brannigan: Lands on MiLB IL
Brannigan (nose) was placed on the 7-day injured list Monday.
Brannigan suffered a fractured nose during spring training and will need some more time before returning to game action. The injury isn't considered significant, so he figures to be back on the field in the near future for Double-A Altoona.

William Contreras C | MIL
Brewers' William Contreras: Swats first home run in loss
Contreras went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Rays.
Contreras' two-run shot in the sixth inning of Nick Martinez accounted for all of the scoring for Milwaukee. Through four games, Contreras is 4-for-15 at the plate with a pair of doubles, one home run, five RBI, three runs scored and a 4:2 BB:K, good for a 1.021 OPS.

Ezequiel Tovar SS | COL
Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Busy in lopsided win
Tovar went 3-for-6 with two doubles, three RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Monday's 14-5 win over Toronto.
The shortstop put his fingerprints all over this one, even flashing the leather on an outstanding throw to first base to put out Vladimir Guerrero in the first inning. Tovar has hit safely in each of his first four games of the season, batting cleanup in all of his appearances so far. Tovar posted an .885 OPS at home last year as opposed to a .514 OPS on the road, so he'll likely be a more attractive fantasy option when he gets to perform at Coors Field.

Kyle Leahy RP | STL
Cardinals' Kyle Leahy: Hit hard in loss
Leahy (0-1) took the loss Monday against the Mets, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over five innings.
Making just his second MLB start, Leahy immediately found himself in trouble, giving up a leadoff triple to Francisco Lindor who eventually came around to score. The right-hander struggled to limit traffic all day, allowing at least one hit in every inning he pitched. While Leahy was able to work into the sixth frame throwing 79 pitches, the constant contact led to dangerous situations throughout the outing and four runs crossing the plate. After starting the final game of 2025, the 28-year-old is now adjusting to a rotation role and will look to find more consistency in his next outing against Detroit.

Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL
Braves' Mauricio Dubon: Drives in three runs in win
Dubon went 3-for-4 with three RBI in Monday's 4-0 win over the Athletics.
Dubon drove in a pair with a single in the first inning and added a third RBI on another single in the eighth to stretch Atlanta's lead to 4-0. With Ha-Seong Kim (finger) on the injured list, Dubon has started three of the first four games of the season at shortstop and is 4-for-10 at the plate with a team-leading five RBI.

Tomoyuki Sugano SP | COL
Rockies' Tomoyuki Sugano: Impressive in team debut
Sugano took a no-decision Monday against the Blue Jays, allowing one run on two hits and two walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out four.
Sugano fared well in his Rockies debut versus a formidable Toronto lineup, but he came just one out short of being eligible for the win Monday. The right-hander posted a respectable nine whiffs on the evening, though one of his hits surrendered was a home run off the bat of George Springer in the third inning. Sugano is unlikely to project as an attractive fantasy option in starts at hitter-friendly Coors Field in 2026, and he'll be an option to avoid in most formats at home versus the Phillies his next time out.

Ronald Acuna Jr. RF | ATL
Braves' Ronald Acuna: Reaches base four times in win
Acuna went 2-for-2 with one double, one run scored, two walks and a stolen base in Monday's 4-0 win over the Athletics.
After going just 1-for-12 at the plate with zero extra-base hits and a 1:3 BB:K in Atlanta's opening series against the Royals, it was a nice rebound game for Acuna, who swiped his first bag and logged his first extra-base hit of 2026. He's slashing .214/.353/.286 across 18 plate appearances through four contests.

Bryce Elder SP | ATL
Braves' Bryce Elder: Fires six scoreless in victory
Elder (1-0) picked up the win Monday against the Athletics, allowing just five hits and one walk while striking out five across six scoreless innings.
With all of the injuries in the Atlanta rotation, Elder opened the season in the starting five and breezed his way through his first outing of 2026. He needed just 83 pitches (52 strikes) to get through six frames and surrendered only one extra-base hit. Elder's next start should come Sunday against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
