Wilson did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Brewers, allowing four hits while striking out four over 4.1 scoreless innings.

After being claimed by the Cubs on June 24, Wilson made his team debut by entering in the third inning after opener Ryan Rolison tossed two innings of one-run ball. The right-hander pounded the zone, throwing 46 of his 61 pitches for strikes while keeping Milwaukee off the scoreboard. It was Wilson's second major-league appearance of the season after previously tossing two scoreless innings in relief for the Phillies. He has spent most of the year at Triple-A, where he owns a 6.29 ERA and 58:21 K:BB across 54.1 innings. With Chicago's pitching staff dealing with multiple injuries, Wilson could continue to see opportunities as either a rotation piece or a multi-inning reliever.

Keller (forearm) has progressed to playing catch, MLB.com reports.

The next step in Keller's recovery will entail throwing a bullpen session. The right-hander is working his way back from right forearm tightness, and he should have a chance to rejoin Philadelphia's high-leverage mix at some point in early July.

Woodruff did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Cubs, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 scoreless innings.

Woodruff was in complete control throughout the outing, with Miguel Amaya's third-inning double standing as the only hit he allowed. Woodruff has looked outstanding since returning from shoulder inflammation, tossing 11.2 scoreless innings while allowing just two hits with a 16:2 K:BB across his two starts. The veteran has not issued more than two walks in any outing across the entire season. He is set to face Arizona on the road in his next start.

Gordon (hip) struck out four batters while allowing one hit and no walks over four scoreless innings in a rehab start Wednesday with Triple-A Albuquerque.

Gordon breezed through the rehab start, his first game action since landing on the 15-day injured list June 5 due to a right hip impingement. He retired 12 of the 13 batters he faced, needing just 38 pitches (30 strikes) to cover four innings. Gordon will likely need to push his pitch count into the 60-to-75 range before potentially re-entering the Colorado rotation, so he'll presumably require one or two more minor-league rehab starts prior to being activated.

May (back) is slated to start Thursday's series finale in Atlanta.

May didn't end up pitching this past week after experiencing back tightness coming out of his previous start June 21 in Kansas City, but the Cardinals are already considering him ready to go the next time his turn in the rotation comes up Thursday. Before getting knocked around for six runs over two innings in his outing against Kansas City, May had been St. Louis' top-performing starter for more than two months. In his preceding 12 starts from April 10 through June 15, May went 5-4 with a 2.54 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 68:18 K:BB across 74.1 innings.

Gasser is slated to start Monday's game against the Reds, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After Brandon Woodruff was reinstated from the injured list last Monday, the Brewers kept a five-man rotation intact by shifting Gasser to the bullpen. The 27-year-old lefty wasn't needed in relief during the team's series with the Cubs over the weekend, and he'll now step back into a starting role after manager Pat Murphy previously told Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the Brewers would shift to a six-man rotation through the All-Star break while Milwaukee closes its first-half schedule with 18 games in 17 days. Gasser -- who has submitted a 3.74 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 24:6 K:BB in 21.2 innings over his last four outings -- looks like an intriguing short-term pickup, particularly in leagues with weekly lineups. He'll tentatively line up for a two-start week, with his second appearance expected to come next Sunday in Arizona.

Webb (3-2) worked around a hit and a walk to toss a scoreless inning of relief and earn the win in Sunday's 4-3, extra-inning victory over the Brewers. He struck out three.

Webb got into some trouble in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 1-1 game by putting two runners on base, but his ability to generate strikeouts helped bail him out. The righty reliever then earned the win when the Cubs scored three times in the top of the 10th. Webb now has a 3.47 ERA and 45 strikeouts across 36.1 innings this season, and he's presumably Chicago's top option for saves at the moment with Daniel Palencia (elbow) on the injured list.

Wicks worked around a walk to toss a scoreless inning of relief and earn the save in Sunday's 4-3, extra inning win over the Brewers.

With the Cubs starting opener Ryan Rolison, the team had already gone through six pitchers by the time Wicks came on in the 10th. The lefty did a good job of working out of some trouble left behind by Ethan Roberts, and that earned Wicks his first save of the season and just the second of his MLB career. The 26-year-old is still sitting with a rough 13.50 ERA overall, and he's not really in the mix for saves most days as more of a low-leverage option.

Adames left Sunday's 3-2 win over Atlanta in the top of the eighth inning after his lower back locked up on him, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Adames struck out swinging in his final at-bat of the game in the bottom of the seventh, finishing the day 1-for-4 with three punchouts. He has been dealing with back spasms for about a week according to manager Tony Vitello, and he is also battling the flu. Adames can be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener on the road against Diamondbacks.

Singer (3-7) took the loss Sunday against the Pirates, allowing five runs on nine hits over 4.1 innings. He struck out six.

Four of the runs charged to Singer came in the second inning, when Pittsburgh led off the frame with four consecutive hits, capped by a Tyler Callihan two-run homer. Coming into the day, Singer had pitched to a 2.33 ERA across 27 innings in his previous five outings. Overall, his ERA sits at 5.12 with a 1.54 WHIP and 65:25 K:BB across 16 starts (77.1 innings) this season. Singer is currently lined up to face the Orioles at home his next time out.
