McLain isn't in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against St. Louis.

McLain will begin Saturday's festivities on the bench after going just 1-for-14 with five strikeouts during Cincinnati's last series against the Phillies. Spencer Steer will shift to second base in McLain's stead, opening up first base for Nathaniel Lowe.

Kinley (4-2) picked up the win over the Nationals on Friday, striking out two in a perfect 11th inning.

The right-hander fired seven of his 11 pitches for strikes to leave the phantom runner stranded, and Kinley was rewarded for his efforts when Chadwick Tromp walked it off with a single in the bottom of the 11th. Kinley has four wins and seven holds in 24 appearances this season, but his performance has regressed in May as he's posted an 8.22 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB over 7.2 innings while serving up all four of the homers he's allowed in 2026.

Abrams went 2-for-5 with a triple, a solo homer and three RBI in Friday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to Atlanta.

Abrams started the game 0-for-3 before hitting a game-tying solo blast in the top of the eighth ahead of a two-run triple in the 10th to give Washington a 4-2 lead. It was his first triple of the season. Abrams has two homers in his last three games and nine multi-hit contests this month. On the year, Abrams is slashing .299/.391/.556 with 11 homers, 45 RBI, 33 runs scored, seven stolen bases and a 23:42 BB:K across 220 plate appearances.

Mead went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to Atlanta.

Mead singled in the first and popped a solo homer in the sixth, depositing a 90-mph sinker from Bryce Elder into the bleachers. With Brady House sent to Triple-A earlier in the week, Mead has started three straight games at third base, going 3-for-13 with the solo blast. Mead is slashing .234/.354/.449 with five homers, 17 RBI, 20 runs scored, three stolen bases and an 18:20 BB:K across 127 plate appearances this season. Mead doesn't chase pitches or strike out often and walks at a high rate.

Mikolas didn't factor into the decision Friday against Atlanta, allowing just three hits and no walks with three strikeouts across five shutout innings.

It was the fifth time Mikolas has followed an opener this season and just the right-hander's second scoreless appearance, both of which have come following openers. Mikolas' Stuff+ (90) is well below average and he has a fifth percentile whiff rate (17.3 percent), but he continues to locate his pitches well with a high rate of groundballs. After a brutal start to the season, Mikolas has a 3.48 ERA across 31 innings over his last seven appearances, lowering his season ERA to 6.17 in the process. Mikolas has a 31:14 K:BB over 46.2 innings in 2026.

Riley went 3-for-3 with three singles, one walk and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Riley walked and scored in the seventh inning and singled in all three other trips to the plate before Jorge Mateo pinch ran for him in a 2-2 game in the bottom of the ninth. Riley ended the month of April with a .190 average and .588 OPS. He has six multi-hit games and five homers in May, raising his season slash line to .221/.292/.385 with eight homers, 31 RBI, 27 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 16:59 BB:K across 216 plate appearances.

Dubon went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Dubon doubled in the first inning and later singled home a run in the bottom of the 10th to send the game to the 11th. It was Dubon's second three-hit game of the week, and he's now on a five-game hitting streak. After opening the season as Atlanta's shortstop, Dubon has mainly been handling left field this month with Ha-Seong Kim back from injury. Dubon is slashing .269/.321/.407 with three homers, 29 RBI, 21 runs scored and a 12:32 BB:K across 196 plate appearances this season.

Elder didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Nationals, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts across six innings.

It was Elder's eighth quality start in 11 outings this season. The right-hander continues to get strong results despite a low-90s fastball and subpar whiff rate. Hitters haven't been able to square him up, as evidenced by a 3.5 percent barrel rate. Elder now owns a 1.97 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 60:21 K:BB across 68.2 innings this season. His xERA of 3.03 and 3.30 FIP suggest Elder has been a little bit lucky. He's lined up to face the Red Sox at Fenway Park in his next outing.

Barrosa entered Friday's game during the sixth inning for the injured Lourdes Gurriel (hamstring) and went 0-for-1 in a 3-2 loss to Colorado.

Barrosa would be the most likely beneficiary if Gurriel is forced to miss time. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo admitted to Steve Gilbert of MLB.com there was some level of concern about Gurriel, who will undergo an evaluation Saturday. Barrosa is slashing .181/.253/.349 over 93 plate appearances.

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-2 with two walks and a two-run home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Astros.

Crow-Armstrong provided all of Chicago's offense in the sixth inning when he launched his sixth home run of the season with a runner on. The outfielder has hit those long balls in 51 games, which puts him behind last year's pace of 31 homers in 157 regular-season contests. Crow-Armstrong has also seen his OPS fall from .768 in 2025 to .686 this year. He's still talented enough to get rolling, but his production has been somewhat disappointing so far for fantasy managers, at least in the power department.
