Priester (wrist) remains on the 15-day injured list after the Brewers pulled him off of his rehab assignment Monday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Priester isn't believed to be dealing with any sort of setback, but the Brewers will pause his minor-league assignment after the right-hander struggled mightily during his three starts at Triple-A Nashville. He failed to record more than seven outs in any of those outings, submitting a collective 16.20 ERA, 3.00 WHIP and 5:8 K:BB across five innings. The Brewers haven't indicated that Priester will be shut down from activity, but he'll likely need to show improvement with both his velocity and command during his throwing sessions before Milwaukee restarts his rehab clock. Brandon Sproat and Logan Henderson should have longer leashes in the Milwaukee rotation while both Priester and Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) are on the IL.

The Brewers optioned Perkins to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.

Perkins will head to Triple-A after the Brewers no longer had room for him in their crowded outfield following Jackson Chourio's (hand) reinstatement from the injured list. The 29-year-old Perkins had seen limited action of late, starting in just four of Milwaukee's last 19 games while slashing .059/.158/.118 during that stretch. Perkins should get the chance to play on an everyday basis with Nashville.

The Brewers designated Jones for assignment Monday.

With Andrew Vaughn (hand) and Jackson Chourio (hand) returning from injured list Monday, the Brewers won't have room on the roster for Jones. Upon being called up from Triple-A Nashville on April 14, Jones filled a utility role for Milwaukee, appearing in 11 games while going 2-for-21 (.095 average) with a stolen base, an RBI and no runs.

The Brewers reinstated Vaughn (hand) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at designated hitter and bat sixth in Monday's game in St. Louis.

Vaughn will be available to play for the Brewers for the first time since Opening Day, when he made an early exit from Milwaukee's 14-2 win over the White Sox after fracturing the hamate bone in left hand when he was hit by a pitch. He underwent surgery days later and was held out of action for about a month before completing a three-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville last week. Now that he's back from the IL, Vaughn will likely settle back into a near-everyday role while moving between DH and first base.

The Brewers reinstated Chourio (hand) from the 10-day injured list. He'll start in left field and bat second in Monday's game against the Cardinals.

During the third game of his rehab assignment Saturday with Triple-A Nashville, Chourio was removed from the contest after fouling a ball off of his foot, but he avoided anything significant after X-rays returned negative. The injury scare still cast some doubt on Chourio's chances of being available for the start of Milwaukee's three-game series in St. Louis, but the Brewers were comfortable activating him after he experienced no setbacks during his pregame running workout, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Now considered fully healed from the left hand fracture he originally suffered during the World Baseball Classic, Chourio is finally ready to make his 2026 debut for the Brewers and will step back into a prominent spot in the batting order.

Realmuto is not in the lineup for Monday's game in Miami.

Realmuto started each of the previous two contests after returning from the injured list, but he will get a breather for Monday's series finale. Garrett Stubbs will start at catcher and bat eighth for the Phillies.

McLain is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

After being dropped to the ninth spot in the batting order during Sunday's 1-0 loss to the Pirates, McLain will be left out of the lineup entirely as the Reds open a four-game set in Chicago. McLain might be losing hold of a regular starting role, as he's undoubtedly failed to meet expectations for the Reds and fantasy managers alike early on this season. The 26-year-old has produced a .195/.308/.293 slash line with two home runs, five steals, nine RBI and 13 runs through 34 games.

Norby is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.

Though he'll be taking a seat for Monday's series finale, Norby still appears to be ahead of Christopher Morel in the pecking order at first base. Since Morel was activated from the injured list last Monday, Norby started in five of the Marlins' ensuing seven games and went 5-for-18 with two doubles, three walks, two stolen bases and an RBI during that stretch.

The Cardinals optioned Saggese to Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

Saggese has slashed just .170/.228/.208 in 18 games this season, and with Nathan Church sucking up most of the at-bats in left field, Saggese hadn't played in a week. He will get more regular reps at Memphis, and Cesar Prieto will take Saggese's spot on the active roster.

The Cardinals recalled Prieto from Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

St. Louis optioned infielder/outfielder Thomas Saggese to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Prieto has gotten off to a great start at Memphis this season, slashing .311/.357/.566 with six home runs over 28 contests. Slated to turn 27 on Sunday, Prieto can handle second base, third base and shortstop and will likely operate mainly as a reserve infielder.
