Spence (0-1) took the loss Monday against the Nationals, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk in four innings. He struck out one.

Making his first major-league start of 2026, Spence was mostly ineffective Monday. The 28-year-old right-hander has now given up six runs in four innings during both of his big-league outings this year, posting a 4:6 K:BB in the process. It's possible that Seth Lugo (concussion) will be ready to come off the injured list and take his next turn in Kansas City's rotation versus the Cardinals over the weekend, so Spence could soon be heading back to Triple-A Omaha following a spot start.

Gusto (0-2) took the loss Monday against the Phillies, allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out one.

Gusto struggled to contain the Philadelphia bats Monday, throwing a lone clean inning on the evening. The 27-year-old right-hander logged season worsts in hits, runs and walks allowed, but he did reach the 90-pitch marker for the first time this year. Gusto appears to be ready to handle a traditional starter's workload going forward, and he'll carry a bloated 7.24 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB over 13.2 innings into his next scheduled outing at home versus the Giants.

Wheeler (6-1) notched the win Monday against the Marlins, allowing no runs on two hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out nine.

After beginning the season on the injured list due to last year's shoulder surgery, Wheeler continues to show no signs of slowing down in 2026. The 36-year-old right-hander has now registered eight quality starts over his first 10 outings, giving up two runs or fewer eight times this year. Wheeler will bring an outstanding 2.01 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 62:15 K:BB over 62.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Mets.

X-rays on Turner's right wrist came back negative, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Turner was pulled from Monday's game after being struck by a pitch on his right hand, though it appears he's managed to avoid a significant injury. The Phillies will likely re-evaluate the star shortstop in the morning to determine his availability going forward.

Turner was removed from Monday's game against the Marlins due to a bruised right wrist, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Turner was hit by a pitch on his right hand earlier in the game, and he's presumably being sent for further testing. Alec Bohm entered the game at third base and Edmundo Sosa shifted over to shortstop following Turner's departure. He can be considered day-to-day until the Phillies have more information to share.

Alzolay (elbow) has struck out four batters and allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks across three innings in three appearances for Triple-A Syracuse since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list June 4.

Alzolay was on the shelf for the first two months of the minor-league season, presumably because he was still working to regain command and velocity following his August 2024 Tommy John surgery. After making six rehab appearances across three different lower-level affiliates, Alzolay received the green light to join Syracuse earlier this month, but he's looked rusty in his initial opportunities at the Triple-A level. Though Alzolay is only three seasons removed from saving 22 games for the Cubs, he'll probably need to return to dominant form over a prolonged period at Syracuse before getting another look in the majors.

Triple-A Syracuse placed Lambert on the 7-day injured list June 4 due to an unspecified injury.

Lambert, 23, has struck out one-third of the batters he's faced this season, but a bloated 18.7 percent walk rate played a big part in him submitting an inflated 6.19 ERA and 1.62 over 16 innings at Triple-A. He's without a clear timeline to return to action for Syracuse.

Torres left Monday's game against the Astros with an apparent left side injury, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Torres looked to suffer the injury on a swing during the top of the second inning, and he was unable to finish the at-bat. The 29-year-old was activated from the injured list at the beginning of the month after previously down with a left oblique strain, so this is a concerning sight for fantasy managers. The Tigers should have an update on Torres' status shortly.

Zobac (knee) was activated from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Zobac began the season on the minor-league IL due to a knee injury. He looked sharp in the Arizona Complex League while ramping back up, cruising to a 3.18 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with a 14:3 K:BB across 11.1 frames. Zobac was activated over the weekend and made his first appearance at Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and three walks while striking out two over 2.1 innings.

Hampton (elbow) was activated from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Hampton made six rehab appearances in the lower levels of the minors while working his way back from Tommy John surgery, and while the results weren't sparkling, he's been activated from the IL. The right-hander received mixed results in his first action this year at Double-A Somerset, as he surrendered three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three over three frames.
