Arraez went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Rockies.

Arraez hit an RBI double in the fifth inning, drew a walk in the sixth and singled before coming around to score in the eighth. The 29-year-old infielder has recorded three multi-hit games through eight outings in July, batting .273 with three RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base across 36 plate appearances during that time. He's now slashing .326/.363/.460 with 46 runs scored, 35 RBI, seven stolen bases and four long balls in 389 plate appearances this season.

Thomas went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Mets.

Thomas led off the contest by launching a solo homer to left field off Sean Manaea, his seventh long ball of the campaign. The 30-year-old outfielder has been locked in at the plate of late, slashing .385/.467/.846 with two homers, six doubles, seven RBI and six runs scored during a seven-game hitting streak. With Kyle Isbel (foot) slowed in his rehab, Thomas should continue to see regular playing time in center field while hitting near the top of the Royals' lineup.

A second opinion on Early's injured left elbow confirmed the diagnosis of posterior inflammation, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

It's good news for Early, who was removed early from his June 30 start and placed on the 15-day injured list the following day. The rookie southpaw should be ready to return to the Boston rotation shortly after the All-Star break. Early has posted a 3.44 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 93:34 K:BB across 91.2 innings spanning 17 starts this season.

The Twins activated Jeffers (hand) from the 10-day injured list Friday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Jeffers suffered a fractured left hamate bone May 18 and has missed the last 46 games, but he appears ready to return to the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Angels. Jeffers was on a tear at the plate before going down, slashing .295/.408/.541 with seven homers, 26 RBI, 26 runs scored, one stolen base and a 23:23 BB:K across 148 trips to the dish.

The Royals optioned Misner to Triple-A Omaha on Friday.

Misner is the odd man out on the 26-man roster with Vinnie Pasquantino (hand) back from the injured list Friday. Misner has appeared in 18 games for the Royals this season, slashing .220/.256/.244 with one double, four RBI, two runs scored, three stolen bases and a 2:17 BB:K across 44 trips to the dish.

The Royals optioned Cuas to Triple-A Omaha on Friday.

Cuas was recalled at the beginning of the month and appeared in five games out of the bullpen for Kansas City, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks with nine strikeouts across 6.1 innings. With Cuas headed back to Omaha, the Royals recalled Eli Morgan in a corresponding move.

Henderson (elbow) has been cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.

Henderson has been sidelined all season after coming into spring training with a flexor strain. He's progressed enough in his rehab to test things out in games and should eventually join the rotation at Triple-A Memphis once he's deemed ready. Henderson has excelled in his two seasons in the minors, most recently holding a 2.59 ERA and 134:51 K:BB over 132 innings covering 25 starts with Double-A Springfield in 2025.

The Royals recalled Morgan from Triple-A Omaha on Friday.

Morgan has pitched in 14 games out of the bullpen for Kansas City this season, registering a 5.19 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 15:8 K:BB across 17.1 innings. He'll swap places with Jose Cuas, who was optioned to Omaha in a corresponding move.

The Royals activated Pasquantino (hand) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Pasquantino suffered a broken right hamate bone last month and missed just 23 games with the injury. He's returning in just under four weeks, beating the typical recovery timeline significantly as Pasquantino was initially expected to be sidelined through the All-Star break. He appeared in three games with Triple-A Omaha on a rehab assignment, going 4-for-11 with three walks. At the time of his injury, Pasquantino had slashed an impressive .309/.397/.436 over his previous 14 games. He'll look to recapture that form during a weekend series against the Orioles.

The Reds activated Hayes (back) from the 10-day injured list Friday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

Hayes looked sharp at the plate on his rehab assignment, going 7-for-12 with one home run in three games with Triple-A Louisville. He slashed an ugly .142/.195/.225 in 44 contests with the Reds before going down in late May with a bulging disc in his back. Hayes will get some starts at third base on days Sal Stewart plays another position, but it's uncertain how often the veteran infielder will ultimately get into the lineup.
