The Mariners selected Mastrobuoni's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.

Mastrobuoni was DFA'd by the Mariners in mid-June but is back with the big club to provide depth in the outfield after Julio Rodriguez (concussion) was placed on the 7-day injured list. Mastrobuoni has spent most of the 2026 season in Triple-A, where he has a .603 OPS with five steals, one home run and three RBI over 71 plate appearances.

The Mariners placed Rodriguez (concussion) on the 7-day injured list Friday.

The move to the 7-day IL was an expected one once Rodriguez entered the league's concussion protocol following Thursday's game against the Angels. He's eligible to be reinstated from the IL on July 10, but whether Rodriguez returns before the All-Star break will depend on how he progresses. In a corresponding move, the Mariners selected Miles Mastrobuoni's contract from Triple-A Tacoma and transferred Cooper Criswell (shoulder) to the 60-day IL.

Sanoja isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Sanoja will rest his legs Friday after going 9-for-16 with a homer, eight RBI and four runs scored during Miami's four-game series against the Rockies. His absence will allow Leo Jimenez to start at third base and bat ninth.

Seigler is not in the Red Sox's starting lineup against the Angels on Friday, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Seigler has faced starting southpaws this season, but he will be on the bench for the beginning of Friday's contest while Romy Gonzalez starts at the keystone and bats sixth against Angels left-hander Reid Detmers. Seigler has gone 12-for-31 (.387) with one steal, four walks, one home run, three RBI and six runs scored over his last nine games.

Mack isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Mack will get a chance to rest during Friday's series opener after going 3-for-12 with two homers and four RBI during Miami's four-game set in Colorado. Liam Hicks will start behind the plate with Mack on the bench, moving Owen Caissie into the DH spot and allowing Heriberto Hernandez to start in the outfield.

Peraza is not in the Angels' starting lineup against the Red Sox on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Even with southpaw Jake Bennett on the mound for the Red Sox, the righty-hitting Peraza will be on the bench for the start of Friday's game while Vaughn Grissom starts at second base and bats fifth. Over his last seven outings, Peraza has gone 1-for-21 with one RBI, two runs and 10 strikeouts.

Edman isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against San Diego, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Edman will move to the bench to begin Friday's contest after going 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's win. While he sits, Alex Freeland will start at the keystone and bat ninth.

Keller (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.

Keller has been sidelined by right forearm tendinitis since June 16, but he's now been cleared to return to a game setting and looks to still be on track to return to Philadelphia's bullpen well before the All-Star break.

The Mariners are expected to place Rodriguez on the 7-day concussion injured list Friday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Rodriguez entered the league's concussion protocol following Thursday's game against the Angels, after he was hit in the back of the helmet by a throw from Nolan Schanuel in the first inning. Rodriguez will need to move through multiple checkpoints before being cleared but will be eligible to be activated off the IL before the All-Star break. A corresponding move has yet to be announced, though Kremer notes that Miles Mastrobuoni has a locker ahead of Friday's series opener against the Blue Jays.

Estrada (knee) has been throwing at the Padres' spring-training complex in Arizona, per MLB.com.

When Estrada landed on the IL with right knee inflammation June 5, it was initially believed that he wouldn't be out long. However, the righty reliever has now been sidelined nearly a month, and the Padres haven't shared a timeline for when he will return. San Diego recently lost setup man Jason Adam to the injured list because of a shoulder strain, so Estrada's continued absence has taken on extra significance.
