Vaughn isn't in the lineup for Game 4 of the NLCS versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Vaughn has gone 0-for-10 with a walk through the first three games of the series. Now one loss away from elimination, the Brewers will turn to Jake Bauers to start at first base in Vaughn's stead.

Chourio (hamstring) will start in left field and bat second in Game 4 of the NLCS against the Dodgers on Friday.

Chourio aggravated his injured hamstring during the seventh inning of Game 3 on Thursday, but he is seemingly feeling well enough to remain in the starting nine Friday. The 21-year-old outfielder has been one of the few Brewers hitters to contribute consistently during the postseason, slashing .276/.290/.552 with two homers and eight RBI through 31 plate appearances.

Nootbaar underwent surgery Oct. 7 on both heels to shave down Haglund's deformities, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear how long Nootbaar's heels have bothered him, and it's also uncertain how long his rehab is expected to take. Nootbaar finished with career highs in games played (135) and plate appearances (583) this season but posted a disappointing .234/.325/.361 batting line with 13 home runs.

Donovan underwent surgery Oct. 7 to repair a sports hernia, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Donovan had dealt with a nagging groin issue for much of the second half before eventually being shut down. Last week's operation should not affect his availability for the beginning of spring training, barring any setbacks. Donovan made his first All-Star team in 2025, finishing with a .287/.353/.422 batting line, 10 home runs and 32 doubles over 118 contests.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Friday that Yesavage will start Game 6 of the ALCS versus the Mariners on Sunday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Yesavage struggled in Game 2, alowing five runs on four hits and three walks over four innings. He had a dominant start against the Yankees in the ALDS, however, and will get an opportunity to bounce back Sunday. Depending on what happens in Game 5 on Friday, Yesavage's start Sunday will either be to help send the Blue Jays to the World Series or allow them to stave off elimination.

Herrera underwent surgery Wednesday to have bone spurs removed from his right elbow, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

It had been reported in September that Herrera would have offseason elbow surgery after his arm had bothered him for a couple years. The procedure is considered minor and is not expected to affect his offseason workouts or readiness for spring training. Herrera slashed .284/.373/.464with 19 home runs over 107 games for the Cardinals this season. He was a full-time designated hitter during the second half, but Herrera will prepare exclusively as a catcher this offseason.

The Red Sox outrighted Campbell to Triple-A Worcester on Thursday.

Campbell has been torched for 19 runs (18 earned) over 14.1 innings over the last two seasons during his brief time with the Red Sox. He's no longer on the 40-man roster but will remain in the organization for the time being.

Kiner-Falefa will start at second base and bat eighth in Friday's ALCS Game 5 against the Mariners.

With Anthony Santander (back) removed from the ALCS roster ahead of Game 4, the Blue Jays have shifted Addison Barger to right field and Ernie Clement to third base while installing Kiner-Falefa at the keystone for the second straight contest. Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in the Blue Jays' Game 4 victory.

Rodriguez will start in center field and bat leadoff in Friday's ALCS Game 5 versus the Blue Jays.

The Mariners tweaked their lineup in Game 4 and are shaking it up further for Game 5 after the Blue Jays evened the series Thursday. It's the first time since late July that Rodriguez has batted leadoff for Seattle. Randy Arozarena -- who had batted leadoff in every one of his starts since July 31 -- has been bumped down to the No. 5 spot.
