Tatis went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs Tuesday in a loss to the Cubs.

Tatis got the Padres off to a promising start when he led off the contest with a 425-foot blast to left field. The outfielder-turned-second-baseman later capped the scoring with a 370-foot solo shot in the eighth inning. Tatis was a frequent source of frustration for fantasy managers when he opened the campaign with no homers over his first 55 games, but he's been more productive since then, batting .311 with five long balls, 16 RBI, 17 runs and five stolen bases over his subsequent 28 contests. He's still way below expectations with just five home runs overall, but Tatis has been helpful in other ways, notching 19 thefts while slashing .284/.345/.383.

Perez (6-5) took the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one over five innings.

Perez was undone by two swings in the fourth inning. Nelson Velazquez led off the frame with a solo homer before Nathan Church added a three-run blast. The four earned runs matched Perez's season high, and it was an uncharacteristic showing after he had surrendered just three home runs over his previous 36 innings. Following a four-start winning streak, Perez has now dropped each of his last two outings. He'll carry a 3.27 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 61:30 K:BB across 77 innings into his next scheduled start at home against the Mets.

Wilson went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Angels.

Wilson has been used sparingly since joining the Mariners' big-league roster. He has gone 2-for-11 with two steals and two RBI over four contests since his contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma on June 19. The outfielder is batting .220 with a .616 OPS, four thefts, one home run, five RBI, seven runs scored and a double over 57 plate appearances between Seattle and Baltimore this season. Expect Wilson to remain in a reserve role during his time in the majors.

Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Angels.

Rodriguez struggled in the middle of June, but he turned it around in the final week. He's on a seven-game hitting streak, a span in which he has gone 12-for-29 (.414). The one negative during his streak is a lack of power -- all 12 hits have been singles. For the season, Rodriguez is batting .259 with a .745 OPS, 14 home runs, 40 RBI, 46 runs scored, 15 doubles and 12 stolen bases over 86 contests.

Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in a 9-7 win against the Padres on Tuesday.

Crow-Armstrong got in on a big day on offense by Chicago when he cranked a solo homer in the sixth inning. It seems like forever ago that the talented outfielder was hitting near the the bottom of the order and struggling to produce. He has hit first or second in the lineup every game since May 23 and is batting a staggering .357 with 12 homers, 24 RBI, 27 runs and eight stolen bases across 35 contests during that span to emerge as an NL MVP candidate. Tuesday's long ball did snap a seven-game homerless stretch for Crow-Armstrong, but he still reached base at a 42.9 percent clip during that span thanks to a 22.9 percent walk rate.

Emerson went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Angels.

Emerson logged his first multi-hit effort since June 2 versus the Mets. The infield prospect has gotten steady playing time in June, but he hit just .205 (16-for-78) during the month. He's now batting .218 with a .749 OPS, seven home runs, two steals, 19 RBI, 15 runs scored, five doubles and a triple through 37 contests. Emerson has a 32.6 percent strikeout rate, so he'll likely continue to struggle with hitting for average until he cuts down on the swing-and-miss issues.

Woo (7-6) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over 6.1 innings to earn the win over the Angels on Tuesday.

Woo had a tumultuous June, allowing 19 runs over 28.2 innings across five starts. He ended on a positive note with this outing, salvaging a 2-3 month, but Woo's outings were mostly against low-end teams. He's posted to a 4.17 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 97:19 K:BB through 99.1 innings over 17 starts this season. The right-hander's next outing is projected to be on the road in Miami.

Soriano (8-5) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out nine over five-plus innings to take the loss versus the Mariners on Tuesday.

Soriano was trading zeroes with Bryan Woo for five innings, but the Mariners broke through in the sixth. Soriano allowed three straight singles to begin that frame, and Chase Silseth wasn't able to stop the bleeding after coming on in relief with two runners aboard. Soriano had a mediocre June, giving up 20 runs (17 earned) over 28.2 innings across six starts, though he logged a 33:18 K:BB in that span. For the season, he's at a 3.42 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 111:49 K:BB across 100 innings through 18 starts. The right-hander's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Rangers.

Sears (1-1) took the loss against the Cubs on Tuesday, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and three walks while striking out four batters over 4.2 innings.

Sears pitched well enough in his season debut against Atlanta last Wednesday to get another turn in the rotation, but his second start was mostly a disaster. The left-hander surrendered three homers among the eight hits he allowed and couldn't finish five frames despite throwing 95 pitches. Only 52 of those offerings were strikes, and Sears walked three batters while throwing just 12 of 25 first pitches over the plate. The Padres should be getting back German Marquez (forearm) soon, as the veteran hurler has pitched well through five games of his minor-league rehab assignment. When Marquez returns, Sears and Griffin Canning are the primary candidates to be removed from the rotation.

Thomas went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 9-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Thomas continued his recent success at the plate with his seventh-inning blast. He has homered in consecutive contests and has gone 5-for-12 over his last four games and is seeing some steady playing time while the Athletics are missing Tyler Soderstrom (hip) and Brent Rooker (knee) from the outfield mix. Thomas is batting .238 with a .687 OPS, four homers, 10 RBI, 10 runs scored, two doubles and a stolen base over 85 plate appearances this season.
