Ohtani's scheduled start Wednesday versus the Athletics has been pushed to Friday against the Padres.

Instead of Ohtani pitching Wednesday versus the Athletics, it will be a bullpen game, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports. The Dodgers now have their superstar slated to pitch against a division rival Friday, and Ohtani is expected to pitch against another one June 10 versus the Diamondbacks. Those two starts will likely be his last two before the All-Star break.

Mangum is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

Mangum will hit the bench after he produced a .297/.316/.378 slash line with one stolen base, four runs and two RBI while starting in the Pirates' last nine games. Billy Cook will replace Mangum in center field and will bat eighth.

Stephenson started four of the previous five games and will get a rest Tuesday. He has an underwhelming .674 OPS for the season but is batting .345 (10-for-29) with two doubles and a homer over his past nine contests.

The Rockies optioned Sullivan to Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Sullivan will head back to Triple-A after failing to establish himself during his first four MLB starts and accumulating an 8.64 ERA and 1.86 WHIP across 16.2 innings. He'll be replaced in Colorado's rotation by Tanner Gordon (hip), who returned from the injured list to start Tuesday's game against Miami.

Steer is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers.

Steer started the previous two games but will hit the bench for Tuesday's contest. The 28-year-old has a .125/.200/.292 slash line and 32.5 percent strikeout rate in his past 21 games, dropping his season-long OPS to .734. It's Steer's third absence in Cincinnati's past five games as Noelvi Marte is seeing more consistent playing time in right field.

The Rockies reinstated Gordon (hip) from the injured list ahead of his start Tuesday against the Marlins.

Gordon has been on the shelf since June 5 due to a hip impingement, but he'll now return to the Rockies' rotation after throwing four shutout innings during his lone rehab outing at Triple-A Albuquerque last Wednesday. He threw just 38 pitches during his minor-league appearance, so he could be subjected to a workload restriction during his first start back in the majors. Sean Sullivan was optioned to Albuquerque in a corresponding move.

Adames (back) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

The veteran shortstop was absent from Monday's starting nine after exiting Sunday's contest due to back spasms, and he'll sit for a second straight game Tuesday. Casey Schmitt will fill in at shortstop with Adames on the bench, allowing Drew Gilbert to pick up a start in the outfield.
