Caglianone was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox due to left groin soreness, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear when exactly Caglianone sustained the injury, though he's been scuffling at the plate over the past four games, going 1-for-15 with a walk, a triple and eight strikeouts. The 23-year-old will miss at least one start while he tends to the injury.

Altuve is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

The veteran second baseman will get the afternoon off after he slashed .245/.275/.408 with two home runs, no stolen bases, six RBI and five runs over the last 12 games. Raynel Delgado will replace Altuve at the keystone and bat ninth.

Contreras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

The Brewers will hand Contreras a breather in the series finale after he had started at catcher or designated hitter in each of the club's last eight games. Gary Sanchez will step in behind the plate Sunday and form a battery with starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff.

Mitchell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

The Brewers will hold Mitchell out of the starting nine for a second straight day while the Cubs have a southpaw (Ryan Rolison) open the game and another left-hander (Jordan Wicks) on hand to pitch in bulk relief. Jackson Chourio will draw the start in center field in place of the resting Mitchell.

Walker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Walker will head to the bench for the first time since April 22 in what appears to be a routine off day. Lars Nootbaar will shift over from left field to make the start in right field in place of Walker, who has enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2026 with a .290/.343/.516 slash line, 18 home runs, 10 steals, 58 RBI and 47 runs through 79 games.

The Royals scratched Caglianone from the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox without specifying a reason, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

Caglianone had been slated to bat third and start in right field, but the Royals pulled him from the lineup about an hour and a half before game time. The team is expected to provide an explanation behind Caglianone's removal later Sunday, but Kameron Misner will get the nod in right field in his stead. Caglianone had been dialed in at the dish for much of June, producing a .322/.402/.678 slash line on the month while slugging nine of his 14 home runs on the season.

Raley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians due to elbow discomfort, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Though he played the full nine innings while going 0-for-3 with a walk over four plate appearances Saturday, Raley reportedly tweaked his elbow on a swing at some point during the contest. The Mariners will give him at least one game off to rest, clearing the way for Victor Robles to pick up a start in right field.

The Rangers placed Langford on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left hamstring strain.

Langford will hit the shelf for the second time this season, after a forearm strain had previously kept him out for about six weeks earlier in the campaign. He'll be eligible to return from the IL on July 7, but unless the hamstring strain is deemed to be mild, the Rangers could be inclined to hold him out through the All-Star break. Texas activated Evan Carter (oblique) from the 10-day IL in a corresponding move, and he should step in as the primary replacement in center field for Langford.

The Rangers reinstated Carter (oblique) from the 10-day injured list. He'll start in center field and bat seventh Sunday against the Blue Jays.

The 23-year-old landed on the shelf June 13 due to the oblique injury, but he's ready to rejoin the Rangers after going 2-for-2 with a walk and a home run during his lone rehab appearance with Double-A Frisco. Carter is replacing Wyatt Langford (hamstring) on the active roster.

Nunez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

The Nationals will go with Jorbit Vivas at the keystone Sunday while Nunez heads to the bench for the first time since June 12. Nunez started the last 14 games, slashing .386/.460/.500 with seven runs and seven RBI over that stretch. He also contributed seven stolen bases during that time, bringing his season total to an MLB-leading 32.
