Erceg blew the save in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Reds, allowing one run on one hit and two walks with two strikeouts in the ninth inning.

Tasked with protecting a 3-2 lead, Erceg came on and allowed a leadoff homer to pinch hitter Will Benson to tie the game. Erceg then walked a pair before getting an inning-ending strikeout. Erceg has been dreadful in his last four outings, surrendering nine runs on 14 hits and two walks with three strikeouts across three innings. He has three blown saves in that span, and it's fair to wonder if he's pitched his way out of the ninth. Erceg has six blown saves in 17 chances this season, while his ERA has ballooned to 6.45 with a 20:15 K:BB across 22.1 innings.

Cameron didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Reds, allowing one run on one hit and no walks with eight strikeouts across seven innings.

It was perhaps the best start of Cameron's career, as he matched his career high in innings pitched. His only blemish was a solo homer allowed to Spencer Steer in the fifth inning. Cameron retired all other 21 batters he faced, and it still wasn't enough to get the win as the Kansas City bullpen gave up one run in each of the eighth, ninth and 10th innings. Cameron has three quality starts in his last four outings and owns a 4.22 ERA and 56:17 K:BB across 59.2 innings this season. His 3.38 FIP suggests he's been a bit unlucky, and the left-hander's strikeout rate is up while his walk rate is down compared to his 2025 rookie campaign.

Steer went 2-for-4 with two solo homers and three runs scored in Tuesday's extra-inning win over the Royals.

Both of Steer's homers came against lefties, as he took starter Noah Cameron deep in the fifth inning before tagging reliever Matt Strahm for a solo blast in the eighth. It was Steer's first multi-homer game of the season and snapped an 18-game homer drought. Since the beginning May, Steer is hitting .312 with four home runs, 13 RBI, 24 runs scored and an .848 OPS. For the season, Steer is slashing .277/.351/.461 with nine home runs, 23 RBI, 37 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 21:48 BB:K across 231 plate appearances.

Abbott didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Royals, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts across six innings.

Abbott logged his second straight quality start and fourth in his last seven outings while also generating 12 swinging strikes, his second most in a start this season. However, the left-hander did walk a season-high four batters and dealt with some traffic on the bases. All three runs allowed came in the top of the fourth inning via four singles and a pair of bases on balls. After a rough month of April, Abbott has steadied of late, yielding just 10 runs over his last 40 innings (2.25 ERA) with a 28:18 K:BB in that span. His ERA for the season is now 4.06 with a 47:31 K:BB across 68.2 innings. Abbott's strikeout rate (15.8 percent) has dipped a full six percentage points from last season.

Seager (back) started at shortstop and went 1-for-2 for Double-A Frisco on Tuesday.

Seager played three innings before being removed. In addition to getting on base, he had a few opportunities in the field to begin his rehab assignment. Rangers manager Skip Schumaker described it as a "really good day" for Seager, per Joe Harris and Theo DeRosa of MLB.com. Seager has been on the 10-day injured list since May 18 with lower-back inflammation.

Langford (forearm) started in left field and went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base and a run scored for Double-A Frisco on Tuesday.

Langford participated in his third rehab game after playing two over the weekend for Triple-A Round Rock. He did a little of everything and appears ready to rejoin the Rangers later this week when they kick off a series against the Guardians on Friday, per Joe Harris and Theo DeRosa of MLB.com.

Rocchio went 1-for-2 with two steals, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Yankees. He was also hit by a pitch.

Rocchio stole second and third base following his seventh-inning single and scored the Guardians' sixth run. The thefts give him 11 on the season, a new MLB benchmark for Rocchio, who was a prolific base stealer in the minors. He's had double-digit swipes every year since becoming a professional, including a career-high 25 in the 2023 regular season.

Kwan started in left field and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Yankees.

Kwan made an impact in his first game back from a stay on the bereavement list. He was back in what has now become a familiar spot -- seventh in the batting order. The erstwhile leadoff hitter lost that job earlier this season under the weight of a season-opening slump. Since being dropped in the order, Kwan has gone 10-for-38 with a double, 11 walks, two RBI and nine runs scored over 13 contests.

Lowder (shoulder) allowed three runs on six hits while striking out eight with no walks over five innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.

After appearing in a simulated game last week, Lowder kicked off a rehab assignment in impressive fashion, throwing 70 pitches (50 strikes). It's unclear what the right-hander's next step is, but the innings and the pitch count set him up for a possible return to Cincinnati's rotation in five days.

Ashcraft (elbow) received a platelet-rich plasma injection Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Ashcraft got the injection after a second opinion confirmed he's dealing with a UCL sprain. The right-hander was immediately placed on the 60-day injured list following the injury last Friday and is not expected back until some point after the All-Star break.
