Ober (6-3) took the loss against the Pirates on Saturday, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on 12 hits and one walk with three strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Ober allowed 12 hard-hit balls and was mostly undone by a six-run second inning that included two of the three homers he surrendered. The 30-year-old's complete-game shutout now looks like the outlier in an otherwise rough May, as he yielded 19 earned runs across his other four outings during the month. He now owns a 4.59 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 46:18 K:BB over 66.2 innings this season and lines up for a home matchup against the Royals next week.

Keller did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 10-9 win over the Twins, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and one walk with five strikeouts over four innings.

Keller was given an early 7-1 lead in the second inning but allowed five runs in the fourth while surrendering five extra-base hits overall. The 30-year-old endured an uneven May, yielding two earned runs or fewer in three starts but 17 total across his other three, resulting in a 5.50 ERA for the month. He'll carry a 4.35 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 51:20 K:BB across 68.1 innings this season into a road matchup against Atlanta next weekend.

Soto earned the save in Saturday's 10-9 win over the Twins, allowing no hits and one walk with no strikeouts over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Soto was summoned with a one-run lead and two men on in the eighth inning and retired Kody Clemens before closing things out in the ninth. He's now gone five straight appearances without allowing a hit or a run and has kept opponents off the board in 10 of 12 outings in May while converting six of seven save chances during that span. On the season, he owns a 1.95 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 32:11 K:BB with seven saves across 27.2 innings while establishing himself as Pittsburgh's primary ninth-inning option.

Rasmussen (4-2) took the loss Saturday against the Angels, allowing five runs on four hits and two walks in four innings. He struck out four.

The Angels got to Rasmussen right away, as Wade Meckler hit a grand slam in the opening frame to put the Rays in an early 4-0 hole. The 30-year-old right-hander at least managed to settle in a bit with three innings of one-run ball the rest of the way, but he still gave up a season-worst five runs in his second-shortest outing of the year. Rasmussen, who still sports a 3.36 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 55:12 K:BB over 59 innings, will be trying to get back on track next weekend against the Marlins in Miami.

Pena went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, two additional runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Brewers.

Pena showcased both power and speed Saturday, homering and swiping a bag in the same game for the first time this year. The shortstop missed over a month of action with a right hamstring strain earlier this season and was without a homer in his first 17 games, but he's found his power stroke lately, having gone deep in three of his past five contests. Working as Houston's primary leadoff batter, Pena is hitting .273 with seven extra-base hits, eight RBI, three steals and 15 runs scored over 88 at-bats.

Sproat (1-4) took the loss Saturday against the Astros, allowing five runs on six hits and no walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Fresh off fanning a career-high seven in his last start, Sproat struggled with run prevention again Saturday. The 25-year-old right-hander has now given up at least three runs in eight of his 11 outings this year, having lasted at least five innings just three times. Sproat has a poor 6.24 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 52:27 K:BB across 49 innings, leaving him in jeopardy of losing his rotation spot once the Brewers eventually get back Brandon Woodruff (shoulder), Logan Henderson (back) or Quinn Priester (shoulder).

Lambert (4-4) earned the win Saturday against the Brewers, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out three.

Lambert hung on for a solid outing Saturday, escaping a bases-loaded jam on a William Contreras groundout to finish his fifth and final inning of work. The 29-year-old right-hander has been something of a revelation during his first year with the Astros so far, tossing at least five frames in seven of his eight starts while giving up two runs or fewer in half of those outings. Lambert will carry a 3.77 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 43:21 K:BB across 45.1 innings into his next scheduled start at home against the division-rival Athletics.

Duran went 2-for-6 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 9-1 win over the Guardians.

Duran tacked on three insurance runs during Boston's six-run ninth inning Saturday to match his season high in RBI. The speedy outfielder has hit safely in seven consecutive games and nine of his last 10 outings, homering five times during that latter span. Through 212 at-bats this year, Duran is batting .217 with 19 extra-base hits, 32 RBI, 10 runs scored and 27 runs scored.

Gray (6-1) earned the win Saturday against the Guardians, allowing one run on four hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out seven.

For the first time since coming off the injured list with a right hamstring strain in early May, Gray managed to reach the 90-pitch marker Saturday in one of his finest performances of the year. The seven punchouts were his second-highest total of the season, and the 36-year-old right-hander spun at least six innings while yielding two runs or fewer for the fifth time in 2026. Gray will bring a steady 3.06 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 41:14 K:BB over 50 frames into his next scheduled start against the Yankees in New York.

Messick took a no-decision Saturday against the Red Sox, allowing one run on five hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out four.

Despite matching a season low in strikeouts, Messick continued to deal for Guardians on Saturday. The 25-year-old left-hander pitched at least five innings while surrendering two runs or fewer for the 10th time already this year, having now worked at least five frames in all 12 of his starts. Messick will take an excellent 2.21 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 74:21 K:BB over 69.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance against the Rangers in Texas.
