Fedde didn't factor in the decision Friday against the Tigers. He tossed four innings in long relief, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three.

Similar to his last outing against the Giants, Fedde entered the game as the bulk reliever with one out in the second. While this was a step in the right direction after he gave up eight runs on 10 hits over 3.1 frames against San Francisco on May 23, he was far from dominant. Fedde is still searching for his first win of the season. He's 0-5 with a 5.40 ERA and 1.48 WHIP across 11 appearances (53.1 innings) in 2026.

Eisert pitched 1.1 perfect innings as an opener Friday against the Tigers, striking out one.

Eisert worked as the opener in this game and retired Sam Antonacci, Dillon Dingler, Jahmai Jones and Riley Greene before handing things over to Erick Fedde. Eisert has a 4.35 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in nine appearances (10.1 innings) for the White Sox this season but has been trending in the right direction, allowing just one run over his last eight appearances since returning to the big-league roster in mid-May.

Anderson (2-2) was tagged with the loss and a blown save in Friday's extra-inning loss to the White Sox. He allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one.

Anderson entered the game with a 3-2 lead in the 10th inning and quickly retired Sam Antonacci and Derek Hill. However, with one out to go to get the job done, Anderson allowed a walk-off two-run homer to Miguel Vargas. Anderson has gone 2-for-3 in save chances this season but should continue in the late-inning mix, especially considering Kyle Finnegan's recent struggles and with Kenley Jansen (pelvis) sidelined. Despite this outing, Anderson is having a strong season with career-best marks in both ERA (3.62) and WHIP (1.18) through 37.1 innings in 2026.

Finnegan was charged with a blown save in Friday's extra-inning loss to the White Sox. He allowed one run on two hits over one inning of work with no walks or strikeouts.

With Kenley Jansen (pelvis) on the IL, Finnegan entered the game in the ninth inning to protect a 2-1 lead, but he couldn't close the door. With two outs, the White Sox forced extra innings when Andrew Benintendi crossed home plate on a sacrifice bunt from Rikuu Nishida thanks to a throwing error by Spencer Torkelson -- a throw that would've ended the game if it hadn't been an error. As a result, Finnegan was charged with a blown save for the fourth time in his last nine outings. He has one save and six holds this season, but his late-inning issues are worrisome -- even if he has a 2.03 ERA in 26 appearances so far. He also has a career-worst 1.58 WHIP.

Melton didn't factor into the decision Friday against the White Sox. He tossed seven innings of one-run ball, allowing six hits and a walk while striking out one.

Melton walked the tightrope, allowing only one run on an RBI double from Miguel Vargas in the third inning. Melton has done an excellent job limiting the damage, giving up just two runs on 12.2 innings across two starts for Detroit, but his 4:4 K:BB isn't exactly encouraging from a fantasy perspective. With Casey Mize (adductor), Justin Verlander (hip) and Tarik Skubal (elbow) still out, Melton could have another turn in the rotation since he has a 1.42 ERA in his first two starts of the year. If that's the case, he'd be lined up to make his next start on the road against the Rays.

Dingler went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts in Friday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

Dingler went yard in the third inning off Erick Fedde, Dingler's third in his last eight games. Dingler looks set to have a career-best season from a power perspective in 2026. He already has 11 homers with 34 RBI and a .787 OPS in 52 games this season, compared to the 13 homers, 57 RBI and .725 OPS he posted across 126 regular-season games in 2025.

Moreno went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and one run scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Moreno has been swinging the bat well lately, going 16-for-43 (.372) over his last 11 contests. He's added 10 RBI and three stolen bases in that span, providing some unexpected five-category coverage from the catcher position. On the year, Moreno is hitting .268 with a .745 OPS, three home runs, three steals, 19 RBI, 17 runs scored and eight doubles across 126 plate appearances.

Fernandez went 3-for-5 with two doubles and one RBI in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Fernandez entered Friday just 1-for-17 over his last six games. The infielder was able to break out with a big game, and after Nolan Arenado (arm/groin) was plunked in the ninth inning, there's the possibility Fernandez will be needed to fill in at third base for a while longer. Fernandez is hitting .268 with a .677 OPS, three home runs, 15 RBI, 23 runs scored and six stolen bases across 49 contests this season.

Perdomo went 3-for-6 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

Perdomo's last long ball was May 1 versus the Cubs. In the 24 contests in between homers, he hit a meager .200 with five doubles and 11 RBI. The shortstop hasn't come close to replicating his breakout year from 2025 -- he's batting .232 with a .703 OPS, three homers, 21 RBI, 26 runs scored, nine doubles, three triples and eight stolen bases over 53 contests this season. While his numbers are down across the board, Perdomo still offers enough speed to be enticing in fantasy if he can get on base enough to use that skill.

Gallen allowed five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Friday.

Gallen has been falling victim to the long ball more often lately with eight homers surrendered over his last five starts. The Mariners's J.P. Crawford had two of the homers while Julio Rodriguez swatted the other. May was an inconsistent month for Gallen -- he allowed four or more runs in four of his six starts. He's now at a 5.16 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 42:18 K:BB through 59.1 innings over 12 starts this season. The veteran right-hander's homer problems led to career-worst numbers in 2025, and he's trending in the wrong direction lately. Gallen is projected to make his next start at home in a tough matchup versus the Dodgers.
