Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Dreyer (shoulder) will not go on a rehab assignment and will be activated from the 15-day injured list when eligible June 1, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Dreyer landed on the 15-day IL in mid-May due to left shoulder discomfort. The extended rest appears to have been enough to warrant a minimum stint on the IL for the left-hander, who is tracking toward being available out of the Dodgers' bullpen for their series opener against the Diamondbacks on Monday. Prior to his injury, Dreyer posted a 2.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, three holds and a 24:6 K:BB across 21.2 innings.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Friday that Hernandez was diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and does not have a timeline for a return, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Hernandez is expected to go on the 10-day injured list after injuring his left hamstring during Wednesday's game against the Rockies. The Grade 1 diagnosis indicates that the strain isn't considered severe, but a lack of a recovery timeline is concerning for the veteran outfielder. With Enrique Hernandez (oblique) also sidelined, Alex Call and Ryan Ward are both candidates to see more reps in the outfield.

Wells isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Wells will take a seat Friday after going 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts during Wednesday's series finale in Kansas City. J.C. Escarra will work behind the dish and bat eighth while Wells rests.

Holliday will undergo surgery for a stress fracture in his left foot and miss the rest of the 2026 season, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Holliday underwent several examinations after being removed from Single-A Fresno's lineup last week due to a left foot injury. The injury is severe enough to require surgery and will sideline the 19-year-old prospect for the rest of the 2026 season. He'll end the season slashing .262/.395/.557 with one steal, two triples, nine home runs and 32 RBI across 152 plate appearances.

Arenado (groin) is not in the Diamondbacks' starting lineup against the Mariners on Friday.

Arenado will be out of the Diamondbacks' lineup for a second consecutive game while recovering from right groin tightness that popped up in Tuesday's game against the Giants. Jose Fernandez will start at third base and bat eighth in Friday's series opener, but Arenado told reporters that he could be available off the bench and return to the lineup for Saturday's contest, per Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic.

The Tigers transferred Hurter (back) to the 60-day injured list Friday.

Hurter initially landed on the injured list Sunday due to lumbar spine inflammation, and his move to the 60-day IL will ensure that he remains sidelined through the All-Star break. He'll give up his place on the 40-man roster to Beau Brieske (thigh), who was activated off the 60-day IL in a corresponding move.

The Dodgers signed Espinal to a contract Friday, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Espinal was outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday after clearing waivers, but he's back with the big club largely due to Enrique Hernandez going on the injured list due to a significant left oblique injury. With Hernandez sidelined and Hyeseong Kim optioned to Triple-A, Espinal could see some work at second and third base in a depth role behind Max Muncy and Alex Freeland.

The Tigers reinstated Brieske (thigh) from the 60-day IL on Friday.

Brieske has been on the injured list all season after suffering a left adductor strain late in spring training. He began a rehab assignment May 5 and has since given up four earned runs across 7.2 innings between Single-A and Triple-A. Now fully healthy, he'll return to the Tigers' bullpen, replacing Casey Mize (groin) on the active roster and Brant Hurter (back) on the 40-man.

Crawford is not in the Phillies' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Friday.

With the Dodgers sending southpaw Justin Wrobleski to the mound, the lefty-hitting Crawford will take a seat Friday while Steward Berroa starts in center field and bats ninth. Crawford has struggled at the plate lately, having gone 2-for-31 (.065) with one steal and one RBI over his last 10 games.

Marsh (finger) is starting in left field and batting seventh against the Dodgers on Friday.

Marsh was held out of Wednesday's lineup against the Padres after spraining his right middle finger during Tuesday's win against San Diego. With an extra day of rest, Marsh is back in action for Friday's series opener and will join Adolis Garcia and Steward Berroa in the outfield. Marsh is slashing .326/.356/.481 with four steals, five home runs and 24 RBI across 194 plate appearances this season.
