Peraza is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Detroit.

Peraza started each of the previous five tilts for the Angels but will take a seat for Thursday's series finale. Adam Frazier will cover second base and Donovan Walton will be at third base.

O'Hoppe is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game in Detroit.

O'Hoppe started Wednesday's contest behind the plate, so he will receive some rest during Thursday's matinee. Sebastian Rivero will do the catching and bat eighth for the Angels.

Hernandez is expected to be out for 6-to-8 weeks after sustaining a "significant tear" of his left oblique during Tuesday's 15-6 win over the Rockies, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

The Dodgers placed Hernandez on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, just two days after he made his return from a season-opening stint on the 60-day IL while he completed his recovery from a Nov. 14 extensor repair procedure on his left elbow. Hernandez is now headed for another extended absence, a disappointing development for the 34-year-old utility player after he made a splash in his first two games back from the IL by going 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, two RBI and an additional run. Given the estimated 6-to-8-week recovery timeline, Hernandez will most likely be held out through the All-Star break and will target a return to the field early in the second half.

Call is expected to see an increase in playing time in left field for the Dodgers while Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) is sidelined, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Hernandez is expected to miss at least a few weeks after injuring his left hamstring, but more will be known about his timetable following an MRI. Enrique Hernandez (oblique) is also shelved, leaving Call as the top option in left field for the Dodgers. Call has been productive when given opportunities this season, slashing .294/.413/.373, though he has yet to notch a home run or a stolen base.

Rogers worked a perfect ninth inning Wednesday to record his second save of the season in a win over the Marlins.

A pop-up and two flyouts took care of Miami's 7-8-9 hitters after Louis Varland had worked the eighth against the heart of the order. Toronto manager John Schneider's willingness to use Varland outside the ninth will open up occasional save chances for other relievers, but Rogers will be competing for those rare opportunities with Jeff Hoffman, and potentially Yimi Garcia (elbow) beginning in early June as well. On the season, Rogers sports a 2.52 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 15:9 K:BB over 25 innings while also collecting one win and nine holds in 26 appearances.

Hoffman (3-3) picked up the win over the Marlins on Wednesday, giving up two hits in 1.1 scoreless innings. He struck out two without walking a batter.

The right-hander entered the game with two outs in the sixth inning and got helped along by Tyler Heineman's arm -- the catcher threw out two of three would-be base stealers while Hoffman was on the mound. Hoffman has recorded a win, hold or save in four straight appearances, posting a 0.00 ERA and 7:0 K:BB in four innings during that span as he attempts to turn his season around. Per Mitch Bannon of The Athletic, Hoffman credits his recent success with increased slider usage to match the pitch mix he employed with the Phillies in 2023-24, his most dominant years as a reliever. He still carries a 4.81 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 24.1 innings on the year, however, and he's unlikely to regain the closer role as long as Louis Varland remains effective.

Workman is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels.

Workman will hit the bench for the series finale with the Angels after he started both of the past two days, going 0-for-4 between those games to bring his average down to .167 on the season. With Workman taking a seat, the Tigers will make room in the starting nine at catcher for Jake Rogers while Dillon Dingler occupies the designated-hitter spot.

Okamoto went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Marlins.

The MLB rookie took Andrew Nardi deep in the sixth inning for what proved to be the decisive run in a 2-1 victory. It was Okamoto's first long ball since May 5, snapping an 18-game power drought in which he'd hit just .156 (10-for-64) with five RBI. On the season, Okamoto's slashing .218/.302/.416 with 11 homers and 29 RBI in 54 contests as he continues to adjust to North American pitching.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed after Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Rockies that Hernandez (hamstring) will be placed on the injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Hernandez went 0-for-1 at the dish before exiting in the second inning Wednesday due to the left hamstring strain. The 33-year-old will undergo an MRI on Thursday before a timeline for his return will be established, but the Dodgers are already planning on deactivating him ahead of Friday's series opener versus the Phillies. Hernandez will be the second position player that the Dodgers lost to injury during the three-game series with Colorado, as utility man Enrique Hernandez suffered a significant tear of his left oblique Tuesday that will likely keep him on the shelf for 6-to-8 weeks.

Baez homered twice for the second consecutive game at Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.

After going 4-for-6 with two homers and five RBI on Tuesday, Baez cranked a solo home run and a two-run blast Wednesday. Baez has gone deep nine times in May to push his season total to 15, which is just five off his total from last year's breakout campaign. His strikeout rate has been elevated in 2026 at 32.7 percent, but Baez is slashing a healthy .251/.332/.552 with 11 stolen bases in addition to his 15 long balls. Baez has also made six of his last seven starts in center field, and it's at that position where he's likely to break into the big leagues.
